My life has not known peace since discovering this taqueria. I find myself thinking about a box of Al pastor and chorizo tacos almost daily now. The service is great and always friendly, and prices are more than fair. As someone who travels a lot, it drives me crazy that this unassuming corner stand is better than anything I’ve had in Mexico.

If you’re looking for Mexican food in St Louis you always start at Cherokee St. Located in the heart is Taqueria Hectorito, my personal favorite taco stop with an array of mouth watering options! Some go-tos would be the barbacoa, campechanos, or carnitas. They do have burritos and other items as well, I’ve just always gone with the tacos because of how good they truly are. Trust.
The taco salad was pretty good! I got it with steak this time over chicken and I really enjoyed it!
Don't do many reviews, but this is the only place I go in St. Louis whenever I want great tacos. Flavorful, and plenty of meat and toppings. All options are great, but none greater than the AL Pastor!! Great place to hit up for a quick work day lunch.

It’s definitely a hole in the wall so don’t expect a glamorous dining experience-usually those are the best places though!
Wow, hands down some of the BEST street tacos I have ever had! My favorite were the carnitas and barbacoa. I would eat these tacos every day!
Available for dine in, carry out and on Uber eats. Delicious authentic steet tacos with varying protein options. Nothing vegan sorry. But you can do no meat and get a quesadilla or torte w just cheese for vegetarian. I've tried almost all the meats. The lengua is soooo good if you're feeling adventurous. Tacos, tortes and quesadilla all delicious. Would rate higher if I could. Best stop in the city for tacos.
Great service and delicious food! I got a carnitas burrito and it was really tasty! I loved the radish and cucumber. Make sure to get a side of the spicy green sauce!
