Since Starbucks started in Seattle, I expected a lot from the Reserve Roastery. They did not fail me! Take my advice, and go early in the morning before the crowds get there. You can enjoy it a lot more that way. The Espresso Martini flights we had at the bar were really good. The pastries are on another level (made & baked fresh at the store) than at the regular Starbucks stores. I'm so glad we went to the Reserve Roastery instead of the 1st store!!
All I can say is that if you’re in Seattle, the Starbucks Reserve Roastery is a must!
My friends and I did not anticipate on spending 2 hours inside, but it’s more than a coffee shop, it’s an experience. I love that you can see the coffee being roasted, the huge room of coffee beans, and so much more!
The food options are amazing as well! I recommend the raspberry croissant because that was very refreshing. Honestly, one of the best croissants I’ve ever had. Light, buttery, and worth the price! Loved every single thing about this Roastery and I hope to make it back one day.
A fancy Starbucks with other coffees that are special and rare. 1/2 a pound of some coffees were $40! It's probably better to just go to Pike Place and get real local fish. (Since I don't care for coffee).
It's worth a trip to see!
The scenery of this spot was great! The atmosphere was beautiful and very lively. There were many options to grab desserts, Coffee Martini's and lots of spots to lounge and relax or just have good conversation. Staff were not the friendliest or most pleasant to deal with. There was no conversation or greeting when we ordered. The feel was more like herding cattle than providing a service. When names were called out it seems to be that the buzzer we were given was more of a place marker than useful notification tool. The staff would place orders at the designated area and yell out a name and then turn around to carry on conversation with their co-workers or start the next order. If you were not observant of what was placed or when your name called as the drinks were placed out, you could easily grab the wrong order or have to wait for another staff member to show you which order was yours or as many did they started to grab drinks placed and then yelled at by staff that that was not their order, which happened to be the customers order a couple times. I believe if the staff would take the time to call a name and see who responds this would be more pleasant and more functional in people getting the correct order or not being confused. Over all this is not somewhere I would frequent. I am sure that some of the more local coffee spots might have much better service or friendlier staff.
First time being here and enjoying the every moment. If you’re a local or a tourist, I’d say it’s one of the must see places in Seattle. The coffee experience is top-notch, with beans sourced globally and expertly brewed on-site.
We tried Cold brew trio flight and Whiskey barrel-aged malt. The whiskey barrel-aged malt was the best. Will definitely come back to try other beverages and bakery. Whether you’re a coffee enthusiast or not, I’d highly recommend this place.
I did the coffee lab experience led by Raul and had a fantastic time! He was super informative and clearly passionate about coffee and helping people appreciate it. He answered all of our questions and provided great insight and recommendations for how to figure out what brewing process works best for you and how to figure out what you like. Would highly recommend him and the coffee lab experience!
I also stayed after and got the hot honey affogato and whiskey barrel aged malt. Both delicious!
This is a great brewery roaster. If you love coffee, and want to get her closer look at how they roast beans and more, you must visit. The place is nice and clean and the layout is super cool. The staff is exceptionally friendly and more than happy to answer questions. Great place to pick up souvenirs for yourself or friends or family. They have a cool area with alcoholic brew drinks and you can order flights. It might be a little pricey, but the quality and experience is really good.
During a business trip to Seattle in April 2018, I stumbled upon the Starbucks Reserve Roastery and was immediately impressed by its uniqueness. ???? Until then, I had no idea that Starbucks offered such a concept. Unlike any typical coffee shop, this place goes beyond just serving coffee—it’s almost like a mini marketplace. ????️ From freshly baked bread ???? to stylish clothing ????, and an array of unique items, there’s a lot to explore here.
Everything about the Roastery was well-maintained and original, which made my visit quite memorable. ???? The entire concept of combining a coffee shop with a retail space is innovative and engaging. ☕???? I highly recommend checking it out if you’re in Seattle, especially if there isn’t one in your city. It’s definitely a cool spot that adds a unique twist to the typical Starbucks experience! ????????
