We recently had a two night stay at the Cameron Motel and we couldn't have had a nicer experience. The room was newly remodeled and very clean. The bed was very comfortable, the air worked great, the shower had a good strong spray, and the refrigerator was much larger than the typical mini-fridge. We didn't hear any outside noises and we slept like a baby. We will definitely be back the next time we have work in the area.
Way overpriced! 160 a night-- for what! No breakfast, no pool. And for God's sake you better get out of there before 10am or they will be knocking on your door to check out, thought i saw check out of 11am but apparently not. Only 5 rooms taken and put everyone next to each other, waking you up in the night with the late arrivals. Won't go back. Stay away. Oh dont foget the luxurious soap, shampoo, coffee---NOT!!! Horrible coffee and very cheap soap, shampoo and toilet paper!
Great Motel. Must have had a recent Makeover, room was nice and Comfy, I just came in from Offshore, and had to go back out 2 days later, so I got a GOOD Nights rest in a clean room. WIll Stay here again should the need arise. GReat Staff, and Good Rooms- Can't beat it.
I have stayed here before in my RV. This time I decided to get a room. Our room was freshly carpeted and the bathroom area had new tile and fixtures. Will not hesitate to stay in a room again versus pulling my RV down for a few days of fishing. Plenty of hot water for our showers. The beds were very comfortable. The man and his wife were very friendly, also.
Remodel and much improved rooms. New furniture, fixtures and carpet. No bugs except for ones that flew in when door wasn’t closed shut. Yes, room prices are a little high but with the improvements to the rooms, it is understandable. Gentleman, who checked us in was very polite and pleasant to talk with. Would recommend to family and friends as a place to stay when visiting the beaches.
Although recently renovated this is a poor choice to stay. Everything about the refurb was cheap. The place was smelly and had roaches. Bed was OK but the pillows were your typical car sponge type. TV continued to loose its feed. Coffee tasted like it flowed through my boots. If you are dead tired and need a place to crash, then it will do, but it is way overpriced ($129), should be a $60.
The room was newly remodeled and was clean. It was nice to have a large refrigerator. I was disappointed that it wasn't cleaned and refreshed after my first day, however housekeeping got me mixed with with another room that had a sign, "DND". I asked for new towels and more coffee set-ups and the front desk was accommodating. I will stay there again.
Wheelchair accessible rooms were not in proximity to an accessible sidewalk. Owner just shrugged his shoulders about it.
