Best WLM Reviews

Loved the chicken fried rice, very flavorful. The sweet and sour pork was nice but more on the average side, could have been crispier although we did get takeout so it would probably be better fresh. Could’ve been spicier though.
Clientele was all Korean during my late Sunday lunch here; always a good sign.
Yuyu is not a “Chinese” restaurant in the American sense but is a “Korean-Chinese” joint. This style of food was developed by Chinese immigrants from Shandong to Korea and is highly popular in Korean communities across the world.
There aren’t many Korean-Chinese places in the bay that are good but this is one of them. Both the classics ganjjajang and tang su yuk were excellent. The meat in the ganjjajang was SO tender and the tank su yuk was fried perfectly.
grew up with jjajang noodle so I know how exactly the taste is supposed to be. But this one... the cook must put salt instead of sugar in the sauce. All the food was way too salty to eat. so I had to let the waiter know that it was too salty to eat. But all he said was "sorry" and not willing to cook again and still charged $65+ for the food. We will never go back.
Are you craving for some authentic Korean style Jjajangmyeon and Jjambbong? Then look no further, this place has got it down. Amazing food (they def use MSG like they're supposed to), great portions, and cheap! I ordered Jjam-jjamyeon which is like the half and half deal, and it was bomb. Definitely coming back if I'm in Oakland anytime soon.
This no-frills, Chinese-Korean, handmade noodle house has been serving the East Bay Korean community for decades. And the taste truly owns up to its namesake.
The gan zazang (간짜장) ranks among the best globally, with a light smokiness that makes the sauce all the more satisfying. The jjamppong (짬뽕) broth, while full in flavor, wasn’t my favorite. The kkan-pung shrimp (깐풍새우) perfectly crispy, yet saucy, but the shrimp itself could have been bigger, given the price point.
Authentic spot for Korean noodles (jaja myeon) . The other options are great. I Especially their Tang su yuk which we had with sweet and sour sauce. Didn't have any banchan for some reason though.
Good place for some popular Korean Chinese food. Enjoyed their Za Zang noodle. Reasonable price. Fast service overall.
Im a Korean! Zampong was the best food Ive ever had before even in Korea! Also spicy zzazang myun and tangsuewook were great!
