My extended family members talked about their annual trip over to Sarasota for years. I decided to meet them....We met at Yoders what a pleasant and wonderful place. Picked up a few items at the gift shop, walked over to the market and they ordered goodies to take home and deliver to neighbors/family.
We had lunch and it was really good The staff are so kind, pleasant and friendly. We all got something different, everything was tasty. Hard to find restaurants that cook liver, (something you eat at home, lol) yep they did and it was good.
They even had humming bird cake, it was good. They're portions are large so, I had food and dessert to take home.
If you're passing through Sarasota, take a little time and stop by Yoders.
I had never been to an Amish community before, it was a pleasant day.
I love browsing the market which offers an abundance of products from homemade prepared foods, jams, breads, desserts, candies, cookies to memorabilia items plus more. As I stroll the aisle l admit l cannot pass up their chicken salad and in my basket it goes!! Treat yourself to browsing in the market after enjoying your meal!

Awesome little market in sarasota. The people are always friendly and helpful, and the products are fresh, taste great, and they have a good variety.
I love the sandwiches they make to order, as well as the refrigerated breakfast sandwiches are great for early mornings.
I just adore this place. Fresh produce and baked goods that are delicious. Chicken salad, soups, cookies etc. All made fresh and have never disappointed. I travel here as much as possible from Tarpon and visit all the local stores.
Very relaxing place and the staff are so nice.
Great variety of foods to try!
Not what I expected... very nice place to visit. Great for tourists and visitors. I didn't see bulk items (50lb sacks of rice, beans, grains, flours,etc.)
Great selection of fresh veggies and fruits at a great price. Very clean and well stocked. Nice selection of homemade canned products too.
