This place is one of the best BBQ places I've ever been to in my entire life. The food is absolutely exquisite. The BBQ was straight ????. The atmosphere was cozy and wonderful. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Service was absolutely fantastic. Extremely friendly and helpful. I'd visit this place more often if I had one closer to me.
I had the following best to worst. Ribs, pulled pork and bacon burnt ends. Also the coleslaw and potato salad. I tried the 3 sauces and all were good. Spicy , sweet and bold. I liked the ribs and pulled pork, but I didn't care of the bacon burnt ends at all. The ribs and pulled pork were good enough to want to eat here again. The coleslaw and potato salad were average. I wouldn't order either one again. Next time, if I come back, it would be ribs, brisket and either pulled pork or brisket burnt ends. I THINK, but not positive, that most seating is outside. I was in a small room, with about 4-5 tables. There might be more, I just don't know.
Wrights Barbecue has a good reputation and I am glad we decided to try it! Fortunately, the weather was good for there was lots of seating. Eating on the deck under the oak tree was wonderful! The service was good considering there were two huge kids baseball teams ahead of us! The pulled pork sandwich was excellent! Everyone teased me about going to barbecue and getting a side of green beans but I have to tell you, they were quite tasty! Excellent food and ambiance, we will return!
Agree with many of the reviewers - the brisket (did the extra lean) is amazing! Also had Mac /cheese and smoked beans and they were exceptional. Wife had the pulled pork with green beans and loved it with the bold sauce. And for dog owners, the dogs can be on the patio but not in the building which was a bonus as our pups highly approved of the brisket.
The food was pretty good, the portions were small. The ribs were plentiful for a 1/2 rack, but the brisket only had two slices for $16. The burnt ends were amazing, but again just a little handful.
We had heard a lot about this place. We finally decided to try it out. If we ever eat here again, we will probably just do take-out of some meat only and eat at home.
Very small seating areas as well. We sat outside because it was nice, if we were to wait for an inside table we could have been waiting for a long time.
Wright's has the type of bbq where you don't want to add any sauce. Some places can pull this off, Wright's definitely can.
The only problem they have is that their times aren't posted here on Google. Originally went by on a Monday and they are closed that day.
This very well be the best BBQ I've had on my travels for work. Super friendly staff, cold local beer, and amazing Q. What else could ask for? Wait I almost forgot those burnt ends! Holy smokes they were the best!
This place was amazing! Such tender meats, and amazing sides. The green beans are a must, and the mashed potatoes were some of the best we’ve had. The kids meals were great, worth the money and well-liked too. Definitely must visit this place when visiting downtown Bentonville.
