The pork tenderloin sandwich is described as "massive", and that is accurate! The sweet potato fries were delicious.
This place is amazing. I'm from out of town and stopped in (Why not try a new place?). Was greeted immediately as I walked in the door. The staff here was fantastic. Everyone is super friendly (Not the I have to be friendly because I want a tips but genuinely friendly).
I sat down and the head chef had just gotten off shift, and sat down at the bar and struck up a conversation. My steak came out as we were talking. He asked me how I ordered it as I cut into it. It was supposed to be medium rare, and it came out as medium. He told me he'd fix it, and I insisted that he didn't. He headed to the back and cut me a full piece of prime rib free of charge.
I'm definitely stopping back in here anytime I stop through.
A co-worker and I are staying at the Americinn across the parking lot and stopped in for dinner. Our waiter, Levi was great, friendly and attentive. We both got burgers which were fantastic, cooked as ordered. Fries and toppings also above average. We will definitely go back before we leave town next week.
My family and I have eaten at Wise Guys on more than one occasion, we use it as a meeting place half way between our homes. We have never had a bad meal there, and their lobster bisque, according to 8 or 9 of our closest friends and family, is the best they ever ate. Who would ever have thought that a small midwest town would have excellent lobster bisque made with real chunks of lobster fresh everyday. Highly recommend this restaurant to interstate 80 travelers wanting to stop for a great lunch, they won't be disappointed.
A very nice place to sit and have some craft or house beer or mixed drink if you choose to sit at the bar, or not. And the food it pretty dang good. The staff is friendly, and they have a good said bar with homemade ranch dressing.
Food was very good and serving sizes were large. Wait staff was very friendly. Would have rated 5, except waited long time for food and didn't all come out at the same time. Still, would go back again.
Out of town and stopped in for a quick bite to eat. Staff was very attentive and made our eating experience amazing. Great food selection, good beer, great atmosphere! Will definitely come back when In the area.
Don't let the exterior steer you away. Great lobster bisque. My husband loved his club sandwich. Prices were very reasonable. Try the $6 Bloody Mary- it was a meal in itself!
