Family owned and operated when you walk in you feel like family ... Clean rooms and great service with a happy hour that can't be beat ... The pool is a nice size along with lots of parking ... Being close to the beach it's a great place to plan your vacation can't go wrong ...
Ok so I just Checked into this hotel an hour ago. I must say the owner of the hotel (Joe) was one of the most kindest and customer service oriented individuals I’ve ever seen. The check in process was so easy and he still answered any question I had. The rooms are also nice and great parking esp for fisherman. Highly Recommend

A good value for money and can’t beat the location. The only real downside was they allow chain smoking at the pool and outside the rooms. A lady who camped by the pool every day all say, chain smoked even while in the pool. If they regulated the smoking, this would bring more family friendly energy.
But overall the service was nice enough, rooms were bare minimum but that is expected. The free beach passes was nice and have the bay, and beach so close makes it worth a stay. I actually like that this is removed from the boardwalk area and more quiet and in a nice neighborhood.
Hidden gem for sure! From|The moment we checked in we were greeted by the loveliest staff. The rooms were quaint and the pool was fantastic! Breakfast/lunch on site was really convenient and not to mention delish! Parents can also have a drink at the bar if they wish. Beach within walking distance is a major bonus. Overall an extremely pleasant experience. Can’t wait to go back!
Stayed twice for soccer tournaments by the shore. Convenient location as its steps away from the beach and bay. You have ice cream and Mexican and good grab and go breakfast nearby. Rooms are mediocre. But it's a motel so can't expect more. Rooms have been updated a little from last time we stayed .The carpets have been changed. The service is excellent though. They take care of any issues you have immediately. Friendly front desk. A great spot to stay if you just want to stay for the proximity and don't care much for anything else. The food is decent in the hotel and they have happy hour. The Pool is clean.
Here’s the story with this place: location is perfect—only a block from a beautiful beach with a promenade for walking or bike riding, and a few blocks west to the bay. It’s in a pretty residential neighborhood for admiring some lovely beach homes. There’s a good pool, and the people who run it are extremely nice. There’s a fair restaurant and a bar with a happy hour. ||Now for the not so good: the efficiency rooms are significantly in need of a refurb. Like, everything is old and run down. The full kitchenette is the original installation. Likely from the 1970s. No coffee maker, no micro, no toaster. The sofa is sunken and the dresser drawers will fall out and get your feet in the process. Fixtures are OLD. The mechanisms for the drapes don’t work. There is no wall art, not even a beach scene. Despite all this, it feels like there are many repeat visitors who accept the place as is. When you consider the positives, and the lack of other options in this little beach town, it can make sense for a family or a couple in need of a beach getaway. ||I am sure covid took a toll on revenues; I sincerely hope this place gets a makeover soon. Until then, I likely won’t be back
I highly recommend!! Five STARS!!|I can’t say enough about the Windjammer.. our family stayed here last week, and it was one of the best vacations we’ve ever taken. First of all right off the bat…The place is spotless. They keep it so clean. This staff is the friendliest I’ve ever come across. It’s a family owned business, and they never, miss an opportunity to say hello or ask you how your stay is going. The bar/restaurant is so convenient and we ate most of our meals there. Delicious and affordable. There’s happy hour every day with dollar off drinks and we made sure to stop in and enjoy. The pool is sparkling clean, and you could smell the chlorine. I love that! Lol |Short walk to beach!|Overall..this will be a spot we will look forward to going again and again.||-Ladies from 101
On a positive note...the location is great, the pool was one of the best you will find in the area. Staff tried to be helpful and were courteous for the most part. The room however was not clean according to what I read in reviews. The shower faucet had black mold, there was dust on the carpet that looked as though it was not vacuumed in years in the corners of the room. The room smelled like old cigarette smoke. The sofa bed in our efficiency room had disgusting stains on it, we had to cover it with a sheet to sit on it. The utensils provided were dirty and I had to wash all of them. The oven in our room was in poor working condition. Overall , the property needs major updates and was not clean as I read in previous reviews. I was disappointed.
