I went in at 9:00 am after leaving another chain donut shop that didn’t have enough donuts to give me 2 dozen. When I walked in I was greeted right away and every donut tray was fully stocked and fresh donuts were being placed on the few trays that were missing a few. I had not been here in 15 years and it was just as good as I remember. The donuts are larger than many chains around town, I am going to stop wasting my time going anywhere else. My customers were so happy with Winchell’s.
Great local spot with dough being made visibly in house. Great selection of donuts and sandwiches at a great price. Donuts are so tasty, especially the cinnamon.
Been coming here for a long time, some of the best donuts in town. Customer service is middle of the road at best, they staff a lot of young people who don't communicate clearly and obviously aren't experienced with the non-donut side of their menu. I will be giving them a break for a good long while since they royally screwed up a sandwich order recently. I called to complain and instead of being gracious and apologize for the mistake, the owner/manager proceeded to lecture me on what what is/isn't on various sandwiches and kept talking over me. A warning for all to be painfully clear about what you want, otherwise they will argue with you about it to not take responsibility for their actions.
I do think you have the best doughnuts in town, but when someone goes in around 4:30 pm on a Saturday and you hardly have any in the cases but racks and racks of them in the back, something is wrong. Then to tell me those are for tomorrow. I will just go to QT next time to get doughnuts. They actually have pretty good ones too. So disappointed!!!
Best doughnuts in town always so fresh and soft. I recommend the apple filled bear claw you will not be disappointed!!
Hands down the best donuts in town. I've been coming here since I was a kid and the quality is still top of the line. The staff are friendly and very helpful, I highly recommend coming here for all your donut needs! I recommend the chocolate old fashioned donut, it's my favorite.
So your hours say 4am this saturday morning... imagine our surprise when yall werent open at 430.. very disappointing. There were ppl inside working. Guess it was a late start? Or do you need to update your hours on google?
Obviously the service is 1 star this time.. bcuz there was not service.. still cant knock the donuts tho... when u get them they are always good.
But when ppl go wayyy out of there way to come, after checking the hours on google.. it is quite disappointing..
Google says you’re open at 4:30 am. Pulled up and the lights are off. People are working inside but the doors are locked. Thought I’d snag a box for coworkers and myself. Guess that was a bad choice. If your hours say open you should be open.
