Best WLM Reviews

This place goes all out. If you are into sweet breakfasts, then they will blow you away. If you like savory breakfast the options are endless. They make everything with care and fresh ingredients. They have healthy options, but if you are coming here you should indulge, their meals are worth it. The portions are absurdly large. Staff are chill, welcoming, and no one rushed you even though they are busy most of the time. It's wheelchair accessible.
Absolutely delightful! Over the top blueberry lemon French toast was an easy split for two. Dreamy blueberry syrup made with real fruit. Constant and quick coffee top offs with fresh half and half. Smiles all around from the servers. Large menu! Elegant yet rustic interior. Tables placed perfectly apart for a semi-private conversation. Booth options as well. Plenty of parking. We can't wait to come back!
This place is one of the best local breakfast spots in all of Bellingham! Amazing service and incredible, creative dishes that not only look good but taste phenomenal! Their biscuits and gravy are one of the best I've ever had, and the lemon blueberry french toast is unparalleled heaven. Seriously, go eat here! You won't be disappointed (and, if you are, then you're the problem. ????)
Plan to either make a reservation or get there early because they are so good there is always a bit of a wait to get in. But it is so worth it! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!
We showed up at 10:00am on a Monday, the place was very busy. After waiting about 20 minutes for a table we were seated. Servers quickly asked what we would like. After waiting another 30 minutes our food arrived. We would recommend any type of pancakes. The servers were very kind and helpful. If you want a nice and slow brunch we would recommend.
We went to The Birch Door Cafe for lunch on a Monday. It is the first time I’ve been there when I didn’t have to wait for seating. My friend got the mushroom burger and I got the BLT with avocado. Both of our meals were delicious and were served quickly. Great place to go for lunch on a week day when the crowds aren’t so heavy! Highly recommend!
This restraunt is a large open room with lots of windows. High ceiling. The acoustics aren't good. If noise is an issue, ask for a table at the far back when they seat you. (They have room for large parties. )
The staff is welcoming, happy, friendly, and attentive. They were quick in taking our order and serving the food. The restaurant is clean and so are the bathrooms.
The menu is expansive with many choices. They specialize in breakfasts. The Eggs Benedict, pancakes, and omletes are very good. We've tried many dishes over many visits and have only one complaint (as noted below). This is an expensive restaurant.
We don't like how they cook over easy or over medium eggs. They cook them Sunnyside up. (They don't flip them to cook on both sides, so they are very runny) (See photo).
As with our previous visits, the cafe was full with a wait. That’s always a good sign.
Friendly staff today and we got a cozy table by a window. Coffee is good and my husband enjoyed his oak milk latte, although there was a $1 up charge for the oat milk.
It’s a bit of a financial spanking with the currency exchange to Canadian dollars, but what can you do? Lol. Looking forward to our next visit.
There’s often a wait, a good sign. Putting our names in on a Sunday at 10 a.m., the wait was only 20 minutes for a party of four.
Service was efficient and friendly.
The menu is large and has everything from sweet to savory. The chocolate chip pancakes were good as was the German pancake and the eggs Benedict.
The coffee is unlimited. The chai tasted okay, but came out lukewarm. Other than that, it was a great breakfast spot!
