This experience was bad as soon as I drove up. It said valet was $10 but then the man with the valet vest on took your $10 and had you park your own car. Next, I walk and say I am part of a reservation. The lady says, “How many are in your party?” Idk…I didn’t make the reservation. I’m here as part of a party. She the points and says, “They’re probably back there somewhere.” So I walk around the whole restaurant looking for my people because I’m not getting any assistance.
Candle holder on the table was broken. The TVs were waiting for someone to pick something on YouTube TV.
Asked for a cup of water but was told they only serve bottled water. However, we watched 2 other waitresses walk by with ice cups and a pitcher of water. So our waitress was just trying to add something else to the ticket probably because she gets 20% of what gets on the ticket.
We read the directions online so we knew there would only be 1 ticket and mandatory gratuity. I hate mandatory gratuity because the wait staff has no motivation to be good. They know they’ll get paid even when they’re trash. When the food started coming out, the young man just sat stuff on the table and let us figure out we needed to pass it to. We were only a party of 8.
The biscuits never came. Only 1 order of mac and cheese came, the red velvet chicken and waffles came after everyone was finished eating. We already cancelled that but she said, “It’s been made already so you have to pay for it.” How?! Then when we asked for a manager she said the manager is not coming out.
Food was decent, except the mac and cheese balls. Don’t order those. The waitress said we had to buy a hookah when we came in. That was a lie. She said they don’t serve water. That was a lie. She said managers don’t come to the table. I got up and found the manager and she came to the table so that was a lie. Maybe the waitress was the problem. Also, no one ever came and got the plates off the table.
My service here was a 1000000/10! It EXCEEDED my expectations. My food was hot and fresh. My server (Raphael) was extremely prompt and knowledgeable of the menu. I will definitely be back here on my next visit to Atl.
Food was prepared well and looked great on the plate. Presentation was great and tasted as such. A good amount of space and seating was comfortable. Food took a minute despite not many people being there at the time. The only real problem is that the establishment wouldn't change the music they were playing. We had some softer ears in our party and the music was rated R. The experience was good enough for me to come back and try more of the menu!
I came in for brunch on a Sunday with no wait. The food is INCREDIBLE. I ordered the catfish and grits with cheese and the crab mac and cheese, both were out of this world. The atmosphere and music are amazing, the service is busy but they are very attentive. I will absolutely 10000000% come back.
First experience at the Hive and Raphael made sure we were well taken care of. He explained everything thoroughly and and made it a priority for us to receive our food and drinks as requested. The red velvet waffle tasted great!
Raphael was amazing! Super attentive, fast with requests, and just all around fun to have as a server! His recommendations were spot on and his energy was warm and inviting! Thank you Raphael!!
1st time visit! Went at 11! Real nice vibe
Tyler Greeted us and seated us quickly! I changed my mind about the hookah section and he put us in Jenelle’s section by the bar and she took good care of us!!!! The Food was fresh and hot! Highly recommended ! Oh yeah Make sure you have parking $$$
First time here, honestly had never heard of the place. Our server Jenelle was absolutely great! From the recommendations to making sure we were never thirsty. I'm picky about where I eat but I'll definitely be back here and will ask for Jenelle!
