This woman is literally the best thing about Rochester. I came in at the last minute for a haircut. She was close to closing but stayed late to help me, fixed my hair, and even painted my nails. This woman has been doing hair for over many years, she uses the best products and gives very good advice. She is truly a master stylist. Do yourself a favor and book yourself in for a cut and some color!
I am very happy with my haircut. I showed my hairdresser a Pinterest photo, and she knew right away that it was a bob layered cut. The result looked exactly like the picture I showed her. I highly recommend this salon.
I am so happy with my experience and my haircut ???????? I had called in o see if Thanh had time and she let me know there were three gentleman waiting then and if I wanted to wait I could come in now or come a couple hours later and she would have more time probably. I was down to wait and had a comfy seat and a place to hang my jacket, it was fun to sit and listen to the easy conversation as she cut their hair. I had gone in for a style change from growing out a mullet ???? after a couple questions she gave me a shampoo wash and conditioner that felt great and left me feeling fresh ???? I am so happy with my cut and how she finished off the edges, you can hardly tell I have shaved sides which is exactly what I wanted ???? but long enough to put in a pony tail or braid back. At the end, she gave me a nice blow dry and straightened my hair, I tried to tell her she didn’t have to bother but she told me it was no problem - even though she had five girls waiting who had walked in right after me. Told me it was no problem and that this was also how she made sure it was perfect and looked how I wanted. She was right ???? it looked so good and I couldn’t stop looking at it in the mirror ????

Thanh is very sweet and amazing at what she does!! This was my first time getting a digital perm and it turned out even better than expected. Highly recommend!
Loved everything about my appointment today, asked for my usual layers and she delivered the job. I usually am picky with my hair but she has my back and will always do everything perfect. In love with my curls too!!!
My friend and I came to Rochester visiting our friends and we found Thành’s hair design. she did an amazing job for both of us which she recommended the hair style perfect fit to our face. We really love our curly hair, now, completely transforming for better look. We trust Thanh’s MAGIC hands. If anyone come to Rochester area, come to her salon once, you will see the difference afterward with the result. We’ll come back again.

If I could give Thanh’s Hair Design 10 stars I would. Thanh was able to fit me in while I was visiting from LA on short notice. I came in with a bad haircut from Supercuts (the first picture shown)and I needed someone who would be able to create what I wanted and fix it for a wedding.
The whole experience was amazing!! Quick, easy and beautiful work— she understood my vision and gave me my confidence back. I’ll definitely be booking here again when we come back in June.

Ok hear me out. If you’re in the Rochester/Buffalo area, Thanh’s place is probably THE best hair salon for Asian style. I’ve been looking for a good hair stylist for so long and I’m so glad I found Thanh. She knew EXACTLY what I was looking for when I told her I want layers. Loved this place!!
