Had a 15 min wait, well worth it! First our rolls arrived, then our drinks, house and Caesar salad, and our main entree! We were full, but still had dessert, and it was the perfect ending! Our server, Andi, was friendly and knowledgeable about the menu items. She checked on us to make sure our food was good, and that we had everything we needed. Highly recommend and will definitely go back if we are visiting in the area again!
Great meal and service. Kendal was an amazing waitress and ensured our drinks never emptied and we had everything we needed, and got us to go drinks. The steaks were delicious, great cuts of sirloin and perfectly cooked medium. Side salad, sweet potato, baked potato and corn were all great, and the rolls of course are amazing. Hate I live in Pensacola and have to go here for TR as the TR in Pensacola is horrible.
I came back to my hometown to spend time with my family over the holidays. I asked my niece what her favorite restaurant is, and she said the Texas Roadhouse. Which tickled me. I have many good childhood memories at this Texas Roadhouse. So we showed up, and it was packed like it was every night, but after a short wait, we were seated and enjoying their honey butter slathered all over those warm, soft rolls.
The ambiance was classic Roadhouse. Very Texas. I will say, it's a major bummer that their peanuts are all in bags now. I miss the big free-for-all bucket. And the service was A+, as it always was. Very nice country folk pushing their delicious sweet tea on you. No issues.
I got the Full Slab Ribs (Slow cooked with a unique blend of seasonings and our signature BBQ sauce. Served with choice of two sides). I got the Sweet Potato and the Steak Fries (Loaded) as my sides. These were actually unbelievably good. They weren't exactly fall off the bone, but they were tender enough, and didn't have too much fat or cartilage. Very happy with these ribs.
I also got to try the Dallas Filet (Our most tender steak that is lean and melts in your mouth. Served with choice of two sides). With sides of mac & cheese and a Caesar Salad. It was also pretty good! Very tender, it cut well, and it was seasoned pretty ok. Add some pepper onto this mac, and you have a really good meal here.
Overall, this place was precisely as I remember it. It's a pillar of the community around here, and it made me very nostalgic. I'll come back, probably plenty more time before the end of all things.
The food is always delicious. The BBQ chicken was so moist and tender. I usually order steak because they are always perfectly done. So savory. The new building is very noisy. The staff is always friendly.
Catfish was my favorite food from here but tonight it was broken, twisted, small, had no seasoning on it at all and I might have tried to eat if they hadn’t forgot to put in the creole mustard. Very disappointing . My wife had steak and was happy with her order
Good food and great value. We usually have enough leftovers to bring home for a second meal. Our favorites are the pork chops, the grilled BBQ chicken, and, of course, the sirloin steak. They make the best Cesar side salad in our area. Be good to your server, and you will get top-notch service.
Absolutely loved my time here!
The portobello mushroom chicken was so juicy and savory, and the loaded fries are amazing!
The waitress was very kind, even though I had to get a drink refill twice ????
Finally, we managed to get my mom a little birthday surprise without her knowing!
Also pictured below is what was left of my loaded fries lol.
Thanks for all the onions there roadhouse , and my kid didn’t get there fries and got unsweetened tea lol no wonder why everyone eats at longhorns for 2x more food and flavor for the same price
