Love this spot! Stopped in after a workout for a good chicken and rice bowl after a friend recommended it for post-workout fuel. It did not disappoint. The chicken was ample and well cooked, plenty of veggies and fresh rice. The perfect meal.
Customer service at the drive thru (dining room was closed) was exceptional! She was so friendly and prompt.
I’ll be back a lot for fuel! ????????
Ok, so no, this is not Japanese Teriyaki chicken. But I don't think anyone is expecting it to be. Now, with that being said, this place is pretty good for some fast food. We eat here fairly often and always really enjoy it. I enjoy the spicy chicken platter while my wife and daughter get the regular chicken platter. We have never had a bad experience and the food is always hot and fresh.
Let me start this review with the fact I absolutely LOVE the food!!! There is no other place that gets the sauce right like "chicky bowl." Though they have gone significantly down hill since just before COVID. Now the lobby is closed, they jacked prices to astronomical amounts, and the service is horrible. I was shocked when I handed my credit card to the person(they don't accept cash anymore it seems) and they handed it back covered in sticky sauce. I asked for a napkin and she said "no, deal with it." I don't want to never have their food again, simply because it's amazing but they are really trying hard to drive themselves under. I would suggest against eating here.
I work for the City and drive a big truck. I can NOT go threw the drive threw. Lobby was closed and drive threw was open. They refused to let me order threw the drive threw even though knowing I was in a trash truck that would not fit. I am sick and tried of these fast food places not serving the men and women that keep Albuquerque clean. And to top it off, it is over $12 for a bowl that has one of the cheapest cost of food. Rice and chicken lmao. $12 for a small bowl of rice and chicken. I will NEVER eat ar any Teriyaki Chicken Bowl ever again!!!
The food is consistent, and had no complaints. But for what they’re charging, I could go into a sit down restaurant and have a nicer meal than a drive through takeout teriyaki. 20.00 for the double teriyaki is crazy… no drink, no eggroll, nothing extra… it was already getting outta pocket before inflation… idk how they’re surviving with those kinda prices. Good luck though.
I was very disappointed with this loctions' food. Very surprisingly... their vegetables were boiled beyond color and taste, they were also practically see thru! And the serving was very little compared to what am used to of any of the Teryaki Bowls resturants! And they also shortened me on my noodles! Wow!!!! I won't visit this one again!!
The prices at the store are way different then online . 8.99 online and get there its 18.99 . They were rude , and when I told them their prices online are different, they smiled at me and said they know and closed the window , no thanks for letting us know or thanks for coming , nothing was said. I will not ever go back
Some great staff. some grouchy... good food... pricey but every place is now...
