Have been going to this Taste of Philly for 15 years and the cheese steaks and the service are always great! Today I was picking up an order and was reminded about their delivery option. Will be taking advantage of that the next time I am looking to take out and not dine in.
Well I don't normally comment on the cleanliness of a facility, because that has little to do with their food, I think it should be noted that this place was filthy. I tried to snap some photos to show you, but the photos won't do it justice. They need to spend some serious time cleaning up the place. A little investment could make the place look a whole lot better. I will say, that this place is pricey as well. For two 12-in footlongs, it was almost $30. I figured $20 at most, but there you have it. The footlongs were okay, and they seem to be lacking cheese. It is too bad because a lot of people spoke highly of this place. Take a look at the pictures and judge for yourself.
Great place to have a Philly sandwich. I always get the works! I take it to go normally. The only downside is they do not serve fries, only chips as a side. I have never had a bad sandwich from here and the food is always hot and does not take long to get. You can always call your order in ahead of time. I highly recommend this place and will be back.
Came in for a yummy lunch today and Troy was by himself - killin' it. He was pacing the orders he took and prepared. Even when he was in the back cooking he greeted every customer. Nice job, Troy. We'll be back to see you soon.
The staff here are awesome. No matter how busy they are, I get the
same consistent service every time. Food is great and fries are always hot and fresh!
I like their food and order all the time. I ordered two sandwiches, one with no onions. Got home and onions on both. I called and she said only if I came back tonight would she remake it. I told her I come all the time and I won’t ever be back if she won’t let me bring it back in tomorrow. She said ok, meaning she didn’t want my business ever again. Even if it was their mistake… I won’t be back. They lost a long time customer over not fixing their mistake over onions.
Not many cheese steak places around town, but for sure, a decent spot. Make sure you ask for whiz. They even have kids lil cheese steaks.
First time at this place. I was very excited to have a great Philly pepper steak sandwich.
Unfortunately my sandwich was not so good. I took my sandwich home to eat.
The 12” roll was like rubber. I was unable to eat it. The meat and onions & peppers were so chopped up. It had the consistency if I had ordered a tuna sandwich.
I always give a place a second chance. I hope they do better next time.
