Take-out only, and it will be best Chinese take-out in all of Fort Madison. They do have dine-in, last I checked, It's just not a place built for it. They don't have a single dish I wouldn't recommend. Very delicious and full of flavor! They are also very expedient.
Honestly, I've been told not to order from here as the food wasn't very good bit I've been craving some Chinese food for a while so I gave it a shot.
Ordered the General Tso chicken with fried rice. The chicken had a flavorful sauce but it had a horrible aftertaste like it had been fried in rancid old oil. The fried rice was mushy and looked like it had been sitting in a pan all day. Overall, I won't be ordering from here again.

Good and greasy. Classic fast food Chinese for you. Orders have been wrong a couple of times. Love, love, love their fried crab rangoon though. Great price for a pack of six.
We have eaten take out from there twice, & we have never had any issues, the food is great, & they are very friendly & great service.
Best hot n spicy shrimp...crab Rangoon and egg drop soup I've ever had. I 1st came here the day they opened and will keep on coming. Environment inside could be better temperature wise but I love this place!
Me and my girls Love the "Taste of China" not only is the food always good when we order it but the owners have be nothing but polite, respectful and so gracious to me and my family!!! Only reason I gave it 4 ⭐ is cause they don't have a buffet ????
I can not say enough good things about Taste of China! They are absolutely my favorite Chinese food place in southeast Iowa! The owners are wonderful as well. Truly iconic Fort Madison and a must try when you’re in town!
