Food was good 4.5 stars.
Service update;
New young lady was attentive at the checkout, was polite and brought salsa and food over to us, 5 of 5 service in 2024.
Food iscooked well, but was mostly made in the moment so that's fine.
I ordered a Huarache and recommend it.
We also ate burrito, tacos, elote.
I come here often for their Tuesday taco special. I get pastor tacos and an horchata, and it’s always served with 3 different salsas to put on top
We stopped in here for a late afternoon lunch on a Thursday and it was quite busy. It is counter service that is then brought to your table when ready. The service was quick and the food was very good. I had the taco plate which came with 2 tacos, beans and rice. My wife got the cassidea with rice and beans. We were both impressed and we look forward to eating here again.
Now this is great food! Fabulous service with a welcoming staff and oh my....YUM. I happened in and ordered the chicken enchiladas and chips and salsa to go. They are doing GREAT food here....bypass McDonald's and go get you some!
My first time here and yes it's good I'm from Houston and I'm always looking for home made food and yes it's good I had the Quesadillas of fajitas here they say asada but in the south we say it different and yes it's good Houston Texas approved to all my Houstonians ..
This place was awesome! Great atmosphere, clean, and friendly service. The food was very authentic and absolutely delicious! The only thing missing are margaritas, but that won't stop us from making this our go-to place for great Mexican food. I highly recommend.
Good tacos, recommend the pastor and lengua. the churros are really good too!! Will be back to keep trying the rest of the menu.
Decided to take a chance on it. Got to the restaurant around 1140AM so I beat the lunch rush. The staff was polite and friendly. They took my order and had my side dish of guacamole and chips ready within a minute or two. The order tacos and horchata quickly followed. All in all it took about 3-4 minutes to receive my food (granted it was fairly empty at that point).
The tacos were delicious. The meats were hot off the grill, the vegetables were crisp and fresh, and the tacos themselves were fresh and flexible. The food all had a fresh and perky feel to it. It did not feel greasy, or stale, or oversalted.
The horchata was delicious.
The price for the food was about average and they took credit cards.
Excellent work to the team here. Will definitely return to try the quesadillas at some point.
