Portions are TINY and incomparable to what you pay. $11.99 for a regular burrito-rice, beans and meat. Torta was the same $10.50... No lettuce, guacamole or cheese- no frills. VERY sloppily and loosely put together, it all fell apart while eating, and not in the way of abundance of ingredients....
The Service was best described as rude. No smiles, no help- just a unamused woman with an unwelcoming look on her face.
NO problem, this was the first and LAST time.
Food at this little Mexican restaurant is very good. You will not be disappointed and the prices for what you get are well worth it.
We got this ceviche and the Chile relleno and both were very good.
When coming back to visit I’m usually in the mood for good Mexican food. I’ve been going to El Tapatio restaurants for years and Moorpark’s constantly disappoints. I always order a carne asada super burrito with extra meat. The Camarillo and Valley locations don’t even compare. The beans in Camarillo are so good and the Valley stuffs their burritos when you order extra meat.
I LOVE this place! They have never failed me and just keep getting better! The entire staff is super friendly and helpful. They have a salsa bar with some chips and a couple salsas to munch on while you wait for your food. The food is authentic and affordable! Everyone in town knows and comes to this restaurant.
One word…, delicioso! The food was outstanding and definitely our new favorite place! Beyond the amazing food and value…, was one of the most incredibly hard working, professional and effective front end associates I’ve ever been served by. We watched her handle a large crowd, answer phone orders, cashier, package and service the customers with the grace and ease of a true pro! Thank you, Monse.
MONSE should be promoted and appreciated, for sure. If I could, I’d hire her today as a manger of nearly any business. She has all it takes and more ! Thank you ???? once again.
I get the super burrito with carnitas, and can rarely finish the entire thing they make it so stuffed!

Food was excellent, but I may not go back, because I like having free refills on my drink, especially when eating spicy hot sauce. Seems petty, but to me it's important, and doesn't cost them much. One other customer said he wouldn't be back because of that too.
