I have been ordering from Tacos Elsinore for years, I love their food, and the beans are very creamy. I would say they make comfort food. I’m beating myself up for having only recently tried the home made salsa, as I never actually ordered chips on the side. The chips are nothing special, the salsa is. It’s chunky, full of fresh onions, tomatoes, green onions, and whatever else they sneak in there. The spice is warm and hits the nose.
Stopped here on a long drive and saw that Monday is $1.50 carne asada tacos! Super great deal and it was delicious. Their red salsa is awesome too.
Dead creepy vibe, the lady at the counters was rude as hell I ate angry and left even more angry at the fact that I left feeling robbed for 5 street tacos and a drink for $17 and change. They charge for every little thing and the food sucked. Definitely won’t be back.
Food is always good. They do take phone orders so you don't have to wait in line too long before they give you your meal. Fair prices. They improved their red salsa so thats awesome! I really like their California burrito or their carne asada fries.
I absolutely love the food, the service is beyond perfect. Never Empty. Yummy Salsa. Atmosphere is Great. Employees are so friendly. They make you feel like you belong, like Old friend's or like a close family member. Thanks y'all.. I will be seeing you soon.. thanks for everything..
Just found out that they have fresh Menudo on Saturdays and Sundays. They have a really great menu choices and will gladly accommodate any special orders, based on availability of items. Super nice people, is reasonably quick service as possible and is as good as expected. I wish I found this place much sooner!
I got the Taco Elsinore Friday special and the tacos were noticeably smaller and less filled than the ones I usually get at Tacos Elsinore #2. IDK if this happens to all the items, but go to Tacos Elsinore #2 for their Friday special.
True to their name, they make really good tacos, but if you want any other form of Mexican food they're utterly incompetent.
