So tonight I go up to checkers and I order the fully Loaded fry Burger and the Fry Lover’s XL. Let me tell you this burger is a false advertisement. It looks nothing like the photo on the app, it’s not even the same buns that are advertised. It looks like I got it from Burger King. And then on top of that, I got cheated out on my fries. It was not a full cup like it’s supposed to be. So the next time you decide to go to this checkers, please double check your food before you leave the drive-thru to make sure you don’t get played like me.
Checkers are wildly cheap for how good it is, you really don't expect it.
Where everyone else has an "app" to get deals or alternatively paying 10$ for a burger (cough* McDonald's*cough*) checkers give you a banging burger for 6$.
My family and I ordered the w double for 6$ deal, a Buford, some fries and a milkshake
I'll only speak to what I ate:
The checker burger was fresh, flavorful, not oversaturated in sauce. If you like Wendy's (usually in an upper class neighborhood where the food is fresher) that's what it tastes like, delightful. The meat was properly cooked and fresh, the buns were just the right amount of bread, and the sauce joined the flavor orchestra as opposed to dominating.
The fries, they're like Good times jungle fries? I think. Seasoned well tastes great. Great texture.
Lastly, the shake.
Wow, that was a surprising delight I haven't had that good of a shake in a while.
The meal was great, the service was awesome. I love checkers every time I visit.
Service was quick and friendly. The burger and fries were really good and hot.
I and two friends got drive through lunch, quick and easy to order, friendly service. We had a lovely cheese burger and fries with drinks picnic in our car for under 27$ I think. Thanks Checker's crew for a delicious meal.
I have eaten at this checkers tons of times over the past couple of years. I don’t recall one single time that I just didn’t like the food or got something that was unappetizing. So there’s only one reason I knocked off a star bringing them to a four instead of a five. Tonight I ordered checkers wings for the first time ever. As somebody that is exclusively a flats person, I was extremely heartbroken and disappointed when I opened up my 10 piece wings and saw that every single piece was a drumstick. Zero flats ???? I thought my dinner plans were completely ruined. But as somebody who rarely complains about food orders. I went ahead and ate one of the drumsticks while contemplating going back through the drive-through asking for flats. let me tell you the flavor was good enough to where I decided it wasn’t worth it to go back and ask for flats. I ordered through the app and they do not give you an option to get just flats. And considering it’s about midnight when I ordered the chicken. They might have been out of flats. I’ll definitely be ordering the wings again but this time at the speaker so I can make sure I get mostly flats if not all flats.
One more thing. For the record. I feel like the reviews complaining about rude employees are probably just getting back what they put out. Aside from my own personal orders I come to this checkers extremely often for delivery pick ups through Uber. I have never encountered any employee being rude to me.
The fries really are perfect every time in flavor. Sometimes they don't come out crispy but still taste good.
Fries were hard greasy and so salty the girl in drive thru wasn't friendly at all it's like they always put the girl with the biggest attitude in the drive thru line. The burgers were cold just overall bad experience
I am clear that this is not my country and I am trying to adapt to their customs and especially their language but it seems disrespectful to me that they yell at me and treat me in a bad way for not understanding their language. I think that lack of tolerance is not the right one to work in a customer service place. The food is very good but we will not return to that place
