NCAA time, UCONN is about to play for a berth in the Sweet 16 and I asked the bartender to change the channel and he said he can’t do it. I asked him who can do it, he said “they are not here right now”. No smiles, no hello, sloppy service. In addition, website says they are open until 11pm, this guy says he is closing now after I purchase a $15 glass of wine. I ask the bartender if he was having a bad day - he says “no, just a typical day.” Terrible customer service. If you can be nice in a business where you’re serving customers - get out. You shouldn’t take it out on someone just looking for a glass of wine while he waits for a flight to come in.
I ordered the chicken fingers and they were the biggest portions I ever had. The place is clean and the workers were very lively and talkative. Price is a little high but that is what all airport places do.
Good Drafts. Small bistro right outside of security. Very friendly staff. Good place to kill airport time before going through security.
I had just spent a full day traveling with a layover in O'Hare, and I finally got home around 5:30pm. I hadn't had a lot of time to stop and eat anything apart from whatever snacks were served on the plane. My mom had picked me up, & upon hearing that I was hungry, she brought me straight downstairs to Cask & Barrel. Neither one of us had been there, but she thought it looked nice. The server, Alisha, was happy to accommodate my gluten sensitivity by making me a wrappless wrap. Everything was served in a timely manner, and Alisha checked on us to make sure everything was good- and it very much was! All told, we paid about $36 including tip, for 2 turkey wraps & a HUGE basket of chili cheese fries, half of which we had to take to go.
Alisha was very nice, and the service & food was fantastic for a great price. Made the trip home even better, and much easier.
I had a great meal and the service that Alisha provided was great! She was prompt and very knowledgeable about the beers on tap. She was very good about making sure that I didn’t need anything else, and if I did she was right there to take care of it. Alisha was by far an excellent server and bar tender.
Went last Tuesday to pop in for a drink. Had amazing service by Alisha. She was so sweet and made sure I was taken care of.
Very well knowledged on drinks and the menu. Will recommend to anyone goes through Bradly.
Ordered Tito's on the rocks. Bartender asked if I wanted a double. I said sure. (A standard on the rocks pour should be two ounces.) I was poured roughly an ounce to ounce and a half. I sat there for a few hours had some potato skins and a couple more drinks.3. I got my 70 dollar tab and saw I was charged for grey goose. When I asked why she said there was no Tito's button. So instead of picking something on the same price point like Smirnoff,or not that far over like absolute/stoli, she chose to charge me for grey goose. The most expensive one. I paid my bill and asked for my receipt. I had to settle for the credit card one. She claimed to have already thrown it out. I tried to call the place but the number on the receipt and website isn't correct. I called the airport to get the number and it just rings. The call drops after about 20 rings.
So, I stumbled on this little place this morning, pre security at Bradley airport.
It's a small, cozy spot, with a pretty good beer selection, and somewhat less inspired food menu. But, the wedge salad is amazing, and I'm sure the options they do have are tasty.
But the stand out was my bartender, friendly, personable, and very knowledgeable.
I cant remember his name, but he was on point with the beer choices, and explained every IPA in the cooler, along with it's style, it's hop bill, and what he'd reccomend.
I was there for about an hour, and we talked barbecue (I'm a backyard smoker myslef) apparently he does it professionally.
Great ambiance, solid food, and a really pleasant experience while waiting for a ride.
If I had to complain about anything, it would be the dated look of the place, but I wont take off stars for that.
Defenitely check this place out if you're stuck in Bradely, it's a little hidden gem.
