Food is always fantastic!
I have the cilantro soap gene and I still greatly enjoy the salsa.
We really enjoyed sitting outside and the service was excellent ????
I hadn’t been here since their remodel. The new wall looks great, and they added additional booth seating. My visit on 4/4/23, Taco Tuesday, there’s a special on regular tacos for $2.25- and special tacos are $3.25, house margaritas are $6.50, and flavored are $7.50.
3 people eating different tacos, including 2 vegetarians, we all liked our different a la carte Tuesday tacos. The deep fried Cali Taco is awesome, one of our group ordered one with steak, and one with chicken ($3.25 each) and was very happy. Those looked the best!
Our waitress was attentive and nice. A new mix was being made for the house margarita, and it was overly sweet unlike the original, and they explained they’re getting the mix right and offered me any other flavor right away- which was tasty. I appreciated the quick fix. I think that was very professional and great customer service. They said they were happy for the input on the new batch. I would go back again for Taco Tuesday.
The ambiance is there. Service was great. Good drinks. But that's where it ends. This is by far the worse "Mexican food" we have ever eaten. We have given this place multiple tries hoping for something better next year.Try something different please. We need a decent restaurant in New haven.
We tried this place for the first time. We got carry out. Food was very good and large servings. I got the beef combo.plate. My wife got the chicken chimichanga. Her was delicious and the biggest chimichanga I’ve ever seen. Mine was fresh and delicious but the hamburger was way too salty. This would be a five star rating except for the super salty beef. I’m hoping it was just a bad beef prep day in the kitchen. We’ll definitely give them a couple more chances to earn that fifth star but if the hamburger is always so salty I’ll have to stop eating here and adjust my rating. It’ll be a shame because this is the best Mexican food we’ve found since moving to Washington Township seven years ago.
Queso Birria tacos were great! Friendly attentive service. A lot of menu options, will have to come back.
Based on some great reviews we happened upon this hidden gem of a Mexican restaurant, the staff is great, super friendly, the prices are great and the food is outstanding! We have been back a few times since, very casual but can't recommend it enough, get the word out, they run a great restaurant!! A++
Went here for lunch on a Tuesday and was surprised at how busy they were. After eating our meals, we knew why. The waitress was very attentive and made to check on us throughout our meal. The food was really good. I had the Enchiladas and my niece had the Street Tacos. Super tasty. The only reason I gave 4 stars and not 5 is the meat was just a tad on the salty side for both dishes. Once this is rectified, I am sure it will be worthy of 5 stars!! ****
Staff gave me an incorrect order. I called and they gave me a hard time to correct my order. Owner wanted food back to resell. He compared his restaurant to Target…..will never be on there level. They would not give me my money back was just rude. Will never be back.
