A great alternative for a breakfast place. Though it's named Carnitas Express they have a large menu of American style options. The chips and salsa are great. Looking for a breakfast spot and skipping morning and after church lines this is a great option. Parking is often an issue. Plan on walking from your parking spot.
If you like Mexican food but without all the flavor and spices, then this is the spot for you. Looking for a bland scaled down version of traditional Mexican fare, come on down. Do you like watered down margaritas that haven't been blended? You're in the right place. Want a spicy free spicy bloody Mary, they've got you covered. Interested in being over charged for 4 items $72, then hurry in. Want to tell your friends you had Mexican but don't really want it to taste like it, you've found it. Do you enjoy ethnic food without the bothersome ethnic seasonings? Don't hesitate they've got it. Ever been in a Mexican restaurant with no Mexicans, you've found the place. SooOoo overall this is a place I would not recommend or ever return to. Please allow me to save you the disappointment ????
It’s not everyday you can find a go to place tacos but this place has beat all expectations! We found this place on an advertisement for the area and we were craving some tacos to check it out. Their menu is a typical Mexican place with tons of options and they have some great specials for tacos.
We got a few tacos types, all the plates come with rice and beans. Fantastic choices and taste and some great salsa to mix it. Reasonable prices too!
Don’t order through DoorDash or any other 3rd party service. I’ve had better food sitting in the restaurant. Ordered a chile verde burrito that was mostly Rice with a little bean and a couple pieces of fatty pork. Then let’s talk about the $8 dollar Albondigas that was supposed to be dinner size but came in a small cup with two bits of carrot and one meatball. Poor quality and lazy in my opinion. I feel like they’re taking advantage of the to go customers.
Awesome customer services! The servers and wait staff were amazingly friendly and personable. The food was amazing - I had the shrimps and steak fajitas with different kinds of tacos! They were great.
My friends and I have been here a few times and we love their chicken crunchy tacos. We try to take advantage of their Taco Tuesday specials as much as we can.
The reason for the 4 stars is for their Carne asada burrito. Usually, that's one of our go-to dishes at other restaurants, but I wouldn't recommend it from here-- especially not for $15. I don't like beans with my burrito, so without it, the burrito was really dry and with no flavor in their meat. I've tasted way better Carne asada elsewhere. Honestly, if it weren't for their tacos, I'd rate them a 2 star.
Overall, their restaurant is OK. Their waiters and waitresses are helpful when you dine in, but don't give much attention when you come in to pick up food to go.
Just moved to menifee, was looking for my go-to restaurant/bar, and i believe i found it. My food was absolutely delicious! First time time here, and I was not disappointed. My waitress was very nice and was on it with refills of drinks and chips! I love the portion size of the meals. Lunch portion was enough for my teenager.
Food is consistent good. Service is great. One of my favorite places to eat. You can order off the entire menu all day. Has a bar area and seating on one side and a more family feel on the other.
