This was my first time here. I was looking for some dried chilis, pasilla, guajillo and Morita. The Morita chilis are hard to find but I found all three chilis here. This store has a meat case with both fresh meat and marinated meat. They also serve tacos, burritos and combo plates. I bought a chile relleno combo plate that came with rice, beans and I got homemade corn tortillas. The homemade tortillas were really good and I enjoyed the Chile relleno but the rice and beans were just ok. I like my beans a little thicker and not so soupy. The store has a very nice selection of dried chilis and a small produce section that looked pretty fresh. I bought some tomatillos. Everything cost me $22. The combo plate was $10 but I don't know if the homemade tortillas were extra (you get three) and I don't know how much the chilis were as they forgot to give me a receipt. I definitely want to go back and buy some marinated meat and next time try some tacos.
Friendly workers. Homemade salsas were delicious and the prepared meat was excellent. Will definitely be back to get meats for our next BBQ.
Update from 9/19/20
Was a menudo kind of day and as usual, it did not disappoint. Best menudo in the area, by far. They have this chili oil which you can add if you like your menudo spicy, which I do. Picked up a few groceries and meat while I was there as well and all good. Live to have a place with such quality food and groceries in the neighborhood.
Almost forgot about the chicharron con carne, which was also yummy and fresh!

Update from visits on 5/2 and 5/5
Learned that they will deep fry the shrimp or fish to order. Was delish. Tried some shrimp and tilapia along with some meat for a bbq on Sat, then had tacos on taco Tuesday.

Food is still awesome. Will be back again and again for the prepared foods, but noticed they have many of the scarcer items in the market side like gloves, cleaning supplies, masks, eggs and milk so will make it a point to ship small when I can.

Food and service are amazing. Tacos are just $1 and burritos are $5.99. On this day I tried 7 different tacos and none disappointed. I did have my preferences like the al pastor, chicharon and lengua but they are all pretty good. They also have menudo everyday which I intend to try, but enjoyed my tacos on this day and the different salsas they offer. Green, red and habanero. Also all good.
Amazing chicharonnes. Skin is crispy and thin. You can bite all the way through without losing teeth on overly thick and hard skin. New chicharrones spot from West Covina to Pomona.
Bought some marinated carne asada and Pollo and put it on the bbq. Super yummy. Sweet flavor, excellent marinate.
The nieces people helpful and great food service
Great place to get marinated meat. their mango habanero chicken is delicous. inside kitchen has really good aguas. their chcicharron burrito is the best
Their guacamole and red salsa are bomb. Meat quality got better.
