Fresh and yummy dim sum was made perfectly. Very spicy chili oil. Excellent service!
We came to Atlanta for Lunar New Year and researched top places to eat whole we are here. This place came highly recommended and we were not disappointed.
They have plenty of chinese food but they will roll the food cart around the food hall. You dont have to order from the menu, you can see actual food from the cart. Some of them are served hot from the carts but some of them already cooked and sealed and roam around the hall.
We got there a little early so I think the one server they had was doing a bunch of side work and that had an impact on service level. The food was solid as always! The dim sum was good, but I really enjoy other menu items like the chicken lo mein.
IF YOUR LOOKING FOR AMAZING FOOD AND HORRIBLE SERVICE, THIS IS THE PLACE! The food was really good. The service was non existent. We were rushed to a table, given no pen to write with. We finally got a pen a few minutes later. 10-15 minutes later, all the tables around us have food, water, hot tea, and hot chili sauce. We have nothing. Another guest had to point it out and we were promptly given water and hot tea. We put in our food order and we waited forever to get food, it came in waves to the table and we NEVER received our rice. My sister was ok with this but I was not happy. Who doesn’t eat rice with dim sum!?!? No one ever came back to the table. No napkins, no refills, no food, nothing. I saw a pitcher of water on another table, grabbed it and proceeded to refill my ice water. Someone finally came over and I told them we never got the rice and how disappointed I was. They rushed it out as we were going to leave and I told the waitress I didn’t want it. I wanted it while I was eating, I only said something because I was upset about not having it while I was eating. Needless to say I don’t know if I’ll be back to give them another try.
Disregard the place looking aged. The food is worth the trip. Came here for the dim sum and it was so good. Got the pot stickers, chicken Shumai, wonton soup, and BBQ pork buns. For entrees, we shared the veggie fried rice, I had the Sichuan chicken, and my wife had the roasted pork lo mein. Everything was so good! When coming to a place like this, you just have to try as much as you can. But we'll definitely be back. We felt the down home family vibes as soon as we entered.
Ok, my first impressions were: "Please let the food taste better than how this place looks." Because to put it plainly, this place is nasty in appearance. Its decor is uncanny, and its walls and ceiling are stained. I understand that most Chinese restaurants focus on food over decor, which is ok to a degree. To a degree. But let's move on to the main course, see what I did there? Anyway, the way any dim sum restaurant works is they bring the food to you. And, as I had hoped, the food was terrific! Definitely worth five stars, if not more. I really enjoyed it. Some of my favorite things were the Shrimp Dumplings and Egg Drop Soup, and trust me, when you come to places like this. Really try everything.
Went there on the Lunar New Year weekend and was very busy at 11am. But we’ only waited 15min to get seated. Friendly staff. Dim Sun carts were a bit slow to circulate, but we we able to ask our server for what we could not find on the carts and they brought it out for us. Overall a great experience and reasonable prices!
This was a last minute dinner decision where we were looking for cheap, yet still yummy. Health was not top priority on this one (a lot is fried). Taste and service were just right. They hosted a wedding in the side room, so that was fun to listen to. Don’t get me wrong, this is not the best dim sum you’ve ever had, but it’s definitely delicious. The best part, it was pretty cheap. Think like $3-$5 a dish
