Glad to finally try a famous Cuban Sandwich and take it off the bucket list while at the Miami airport! Cafe Versailles is well-known in Little Havana for this along with their coffee and baked goods such as empanadas.
This is a small airport booth location situated between Gates H and J beside Door 14 before security check-ins. Fortunately the line wasn’t too long when I swung by in the late weekday afternoon. Menu prices were relatively affordable.
As for flavors, the Cuban sandwich was stacked with roast pork, ham, cheese between slightly buttered & toasted buns. Empanadas were fried to a crisp & loaded with protein & veggies. However I found everything to be on the saltier side.
i just ordered two guavas and one empanada. once she gave it to me immediately the empanada ripped through the bag due to the oil and how she handed me the bag. i bent
over picked it up showed her within seconds and she said no you can’t get another and then proceed to ignore me!! so rude!!! it was their fault and i mean seconds! didn’t get a new one. :( so sad
If you are at Miami International Airport, you have to try Cafe Versailles! Their empanadas are so good. Cuban empanadas are delicious! They are located at terminal D, right in front of gate D-20
Good food but long wait. Staff was not very friendly.
Versailles cafe and restaurant are all in one connected building. I wanted to try their food in the restaurant but they have long queue. End up we tried their bakery in the cafe. Their cafe also have long queue too. They have variety bakery to choose. I like their Cuban sandwich and coffee. I think their flan is too sweet. Their service are average.
The best quick meal option in MIA I think. The Cuban coffee, sandwiches & pastries are consistently good. Always my preferred cafe when visiting or in transit here.
I ordered a potato filled and I charge two, I don't pay my money. Check your items.
They packed my order in a paper and plastic bag, I asked to the Manager for a box she said we ran out. No having boxes Is her no my fault. In fact the cashier should not be working there. She does not have manners to deal with the customer. She migth was working in a cow farm before. Very upset with the service.
