First time attending and I loved the experience. The salad bar outshines the meats by a mile. Their house special picanha was rough and chewy. The highlight of the meats was the Pork Belly and that Lamb MY GOD. I would head back just to eat a dish with their lamb. Mashed potatoes were okay, and I believe they gave us fried Yuka, it was also delicious. Amazing staff and very attentive, I will be going back there, with different women ????

I went today to have a quick early lunch by myself , the food is just fantastic. This time they did ask how well done I wanted the meat before they served me. Salad bar was great. There was a slight issue, my waiter I believe thought I was homeless because of how I was dressed ???? they brought me my check after I just got 1 plate from the salad bar..I definitely took it the wrong way, it killed the mood for me. The manager Carlitos was passing by just after and asked how I was doing and apologized after I mentioned what happened and I believe they knew the waiter had unintentionally offended the $#!+ out of me. I still left a good tip though because I want to give the gentleman the benefit of the doubt. After the little mix up though everything was great. Again the lamb is just fantastic, best lamb chops I have had in Chicago hands down! The atmosphere was great, the last time I went a little early today it was around 12 PM and I recommend that time as there is more variety of meat. I also feel that with Carlos there they were more attentive than last time, I just wasn’t aware there was a dress code ????
Fogo de Chao is an experience to experience. Put your card on green to go, and all kinds of meats come your way. From the house special, to filet mignon, to lamb chops, and much more. The salad bar also has a variety of options with extras like hummus which is great alongside meat. The Brazilian bread and the banana sides are even better. Service was exceptionally good this last time I visited (other than us being seated 6 minutes after the reservation time, which is something minimal that I won’t deduct for). Overall in terms of service, had a nice waitress and many servers holding different kinds of meats came to our table. I can highly recommend Fogo de Chao as a steak lovers favorite.
Great place to eat. We revisited Fogo over Spring Break and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. As a Vegetarian, I had many choices on the salad bar (I did request plant based meat options to no avail ????). Also, Carlito inquired multiple times if the table was enjoying the food or needed anything. Ultimately, great way to spend an afternoon in Chicago.
Was here for a School trip excellent service and atmosphere made everything feel fancy lol. Carlitos is very friendly and is even bilingual! Elvir has also amazing service! All of the meat and sides tasted so good as well! My favorite was all of the different steaks!
Service and atmosphere were great, two thumbs up! The food was pretty good, the only thing I would mention was that the meat was a tad bit too salty. Other than that, wonderful experience, would recommend. Amongst a few of our servers, Jason and Edemir definitely stood out- thank you!
First time coming and it was great! And our server Jason was spectacular! And the food was amazing as well! I just love how tender the meats were, and the fruits were just delicious! Had an amazing time, here and will come again!
The food is delicious! Not many vegetarian options but the salad bar is truly impressive. There are two fish options (salmon and sea bass) and 1 tofu dish on the menu. I went with a group of people who raved about the all you can eat meat. Definitely not the best place for a vegetarian or pescatarian but you won’t go hungry if you want to accompany your meat-eating friends :)
Thought there would be a larger choice of meats in the room. Cocktail servers need to better canvas the room! Wary of the plate loaders, small portions are better! One patron was eating with his hands at the salad bar! Gross! There was no cottage cheese at the bar
Caution those cute cocktails are tallied, they are NOT complimentary! The hot bar was not appetizing with warm refried beans. And the guy walking with shrimp cocktails, that does not come with your meat! Dessert is not included and there are no sweets on the bar!
