These guys are the best in Salem. I know how to work on cars and they did work for me that I did not have tools for. They are honest and their prices on labor are more than reasonable. Prices far below what I would expect from a garage. Excellent people. Need a mechanic, go to them!!!!

Honest fair and do great work. The employees are amazing and work hard for you. If you are looking for a reasonably price professional shop that will fix your car correctly, but also save you money compared to other shops this is the best shop to go. In the region. I have been going here for over five years now and I have sent many friends and people in need of help when other shops would not offer a fair price. Every single time Bumpy’s delivered and did an incredible job. If it wasn’t for this company many people I know would have had to pay hundreds/thousands more. It is a smaller family run operation so I highly advise to call in advance and schedule an appointment don’t just show up because they are busy and have many customers that call ahead so all you need to do is just set up a time and they will take care of you. Once you go to Bumpy‘s you will never need to go to another mechanic again. I have used many different garages over the decades of owning a car and I’ve had good and bad experiences but Bumpy is by far is not only the best but the most consistent you will regret choosing them just keep in mind to call ahead and be prepared to leave your car for the day for them to fix it they’ll reward you with the most reasonable prices and the best fix possible for your car.
Engine replacement ...put in a blown engine. Brought it back 4 times 90 days blamed it on me. Car never smoked or burned oil before timing belt broke. He put in bad engine..blows smoke so bad cannot be driven. I m 70 years old..he blamed me for the blown engine..threw me out of his office. He is a horrible mechanic
I had a newly purchased vehicle inspected at Bumpy's. Kenny took it in same-day, when no other shops would take it this WEEK, and had the inspection completed so quickly. Such an amazing and painless process, during an otherwise very stressful period for me.
