Bubs Subs is my go-to spot for awesome sandwiches. I have been going to Bubs consistently for about a year now and have never had a bad experience. One of the workers there, Zoe, has been super friendly and has helped curate the perfect sandwich for me over the year. I alwyas recommend the spot to friends and family when they come into town. The produce is always fresh and the subs are always tasty! 5 stars, hidden gem in Algonquin! ❤️
Came in for lunch meeting with coworkers, the team that took care of us today offered incredible and above and beyond customer service. So friendly, patient, and took excellent care of us. Thank you team for such a great experience!! If ever I’m back in Chi-town, I will be sure to stop by again!!
Zoe is above “SUB” par! Lol she was awesome and asked great questions to make sure I got the proper Sub and it was spot on! So here I am for the second time and it was equally amazing. Great sandwiches, great staff, and i will be back a LOT!
I Did a search on social media for best subs in the area, and Bubs Subs was recommended the most. We cruised over and orders the GODFATHER.. It was EXACTLY what me and my Fiancé were looking for delicious! The dude making the sandwich was very polite and is great at what he does!
The house made Gardinereia is the cherry on top!
Fantastic sub sandwiches. Staff is very clean. Always wear plastic gloves when handling food. A hidden gem in Algonquin.
bread is great sandwich was devoured only issue was missing a topping and the onions were huge giant circles someone was lazy or extremely busy was delivery so no idea but I will be back!
If you try one thing, try the El Nino. Italian beef + home made giardiniera is really something special. We had the bomb beef and firebird as well but we both agreed the El Nino is the sandwich worth coming back for!
My first time coming here although I've driven past it numerous times. So here's my first impression.
The place is small but so are a lot of other places. It has nice older pictures hanging on the walls, and decent enough seating for those who would like to dine in.
The service I'd say was exceptional! Friendly staff all around, and definitely made a great first impression. They all knew what they were doing, made some chit chat while I awaited for my order to be complete, and just seemed genuinely friendly. I just wish I had cash to give a tip for their service. Next time I will make up for it as long as they continue to provide the great service they did for me today.
My wife ordered the Godfather sub. She absolutely enjoyed that sub, and I ordered the Club Bub. The Club Bub is a basic sub with ham, turkey, cheddar cheese, and bacon plus anything else you add. The bread is crisp on the outside and fresh on the inside, and the cheddar cheese gave this sub a great taste to it. I hardly tasted the bacon, but the sub was quite enjoyable. The Godfather sub consists of Mortadella, Spicy Capicola, Genoa Salami, & Provolone, & anyhhing else you add. My wife did enjoy her sub although she wanted a little more spice to it.
We will definitely go back.
