Hi ! I found your name on the keys of my Corvette C3 1970 convertible .... I send you some pics maybe you recognize the car (now in Italy- Europe). The car was sold probably the 1st time at Jim's CA ... it rolled out of the factory on 1/7/1970.
Maybe you can find some records of it and it's first owner?

My rear brakes were leaking on my truck. It has 240,000 miles so things go wrong. I've been to other shops but they've gone out of business so I needed a new one. After calling around to a few places, getting some recommendations, and checking online reviews I chose Bruce and Jim's and I'm very happy I did. The price was very reasonable and comparable but the service was excellent. Only took a day. Brakes work great, they saved the parts so I could inspect them and see for myself what was wrong. When I have car service I don't want to do myself, this is where I'm going.
I'm ????% satisfied with this business. The owner is honest, dependable and does an thorough job. I have been searching for a good mechanic since my grandpa retired as a mechanic almost 20 years ago and its taken all this time to find this one. I highly recommend this mechanic especially if you don't know cars he won't take you for a ride! ????
I grew up in garden grove bruce and his dad Jim were the only persons ever allowed to work on our cars there the reason I went into automotive repair. They are truly one of a kind honest businessman.
Bruce & Jim’s is the only shop my family ever goes to. I don’t even live in Orange County anymore & I make the drive from L.A. for the quality & honest work. Bruce is upfront & gives me options if there are ever issues beyond an oil change & tune up. He helped me find my first used car in high school & took care of it for almost 15 years until it was too old to pass smog check & he referred me to a government program that pays you $1000 to “retire your vehicle” to take it off the road! He takes great care of his customers at any age & always goes above & beyond.
My cars engine had a misfire and two auto repair shops said they couldn't repair it because the malfunction codes were not specific enough. This shop repaired the problem for $170 including parts! Take your car here you are in good hands!
