Best WLM Reviews

My girlfriend and I sat to eat at the bar. It was a great choice as we loved our bar staff and the food was delicious ???? The crab fried rice was my favorite, as it was fresh and the lump meat was plentiful. The broccoli was perfect as well, although I prefer more chunks of garlic in mine. Just a great overall dinning experience.
The whole experience was worth every dime. We were celebrating my sister's birthday and she had an amazing time. The waiter made excellent suggestions as far as what we should order. The food was very tasty and we will definitely be returning.
Not my first time dining w/ BCH, but my first at the Time Square location. The serve Helen provided was great, she gave suggestions and more(major kudos for knowing how to be personable in this era of dining). Now I know the atmosphere from one location to another will be vary, but the music last night was extremely loud and was mainly of similar artist not giving a variety.
Food was just okay for me this time. I had the Shanghai Salmon which I didn’t anticipate it being cut into pieces ( to be medium well cook) after reading the description. I do to believe the sauce on it is amazing, yet there was too much sauce; overpowers the veggies and the fish. In addition I ordered the wild mushrooms for my side dish and couldn’t have been more disappointed. $12 for white cap mushrooms( not wild at all) sautéed/ grill cooked with lots of onions (filler) and it smelled of beef. Now I know this is a steak house but this is technically this side dish should be vegetarian and possibly might not have been prepared that way; just be safe about the handling these matters. I hope this review helps to better the establishment as a whole.
Blessings
We were a party of 8; 4 teen girls & 4 adults. Had reservations for a Thursday at 4:30pm before our MJ Show. The location was within walking distance from Grand Central & Neil Simon Theater, which was great.
Food we all had different items I attached some photos. The consensus was that overall the food was "Okay" not exactly flavorful. The lambs and shrimp fried rice were the best items. I didn't care for the short rib bao buns. Very fulfilling large portions definitely shareable, loved that as we could share items. You will be full.
Service was great Raheem and Albert took good care of us and both were charming, friendly, and fun.
The atmosphere was nice. The girls loved it for picture taking.
We were hoping for a prefix menu given our party size and picky girls, we were told initially that there was one by the hostesses; however, found the prefix menu was no longer being offered that was a drag.
There were items we didn't try but heard they were good. There are many options to choose from. Drinks were good as well. I had a spicy margarita the girls had virgin pina coladas (it's on ice not frozen) they liked them me not so much.
Overall good experience, would recommend for date night, girls night, family night, before a show whatever your pleasure.
This is a really good restaurant, I wouldn’t go as far as to say great. They delivered mostly what they advertised, I’ll get to my only issue in a bit. We had the crispy chicken dumplings which were pretty good but much smaller than expected. The short rib bao buns also gathered no complaints from us except the buns itself could have been warmer.
For the mains we had sweet and sour chicken which was up to par and then the fish (The steamed montauk black bass) it was so delicious, I had the entire thing but I couldn’t shake the feeling of being unsure if it was a bit undercooked or just very soft- Surely enough it was undercooked, because I was feeling very sick the next day.
All that being said, I think I’d have a steak next time and see if it lives up to the name but not a bad experience.
The atmosphere is amazing in this place.
The service was excellent. The waiter was so attentive to every word. Very fast preparation.
Drinks were very rich. It’s always great to have a full glass of enjoyment.
The chief is absolutely unique with the special approach to every meal.
Location is win win. After long day in the crowded city you want to deep down into the cozy and warm place. So that’s the Brooklyn Chop House.
Highly recommended!
This is my first time trying out this restaurant and the food was nothing special. All this was over priced Chinese food that I could get from the corner of my block. Over $100 for nothing. I tried the sweet and sour chicken. It wasn’t good. The chicken was under cooked. I had the vegetable fried rice and that was good. The impossible cheeseburger dumplings were seasoned good. The dumplings ???? dough were too thick. I definitely wouldn’t recommend this restaurant to friends and family. Overpriced for nothing. This is a nice hangout spot with coworkers:
Hmmm went to this place for a friend’s birthday dinner. We went during restaurant week. We waited a long time for our water, our apps, our dinner, and our bill. The food was below average. My shrimp dish tasted so bad. This is going to sound strange, but it tasted exactly like a stable smells. I sent it back and the manager was very apologetic. He had to step in bc our server was MIA several times. The place wasnt packed so I dont know what took her so long. The chicken was yummy. The cheesecake was good too. Overall, with 20k+ restaurants in NYC I wont be back.
