The lady at the desk was very friendly and helpful. We got an extra large pepperoni pizza and some sort of cheesy breadsticks. It was some of the best pizza I have had. Really turned our bad day around I will say. Will return which is saying a lot for us because we usually don’t eat out much or go places more then once
Came to town from Winnipeg and tried to find the best pizza in Omaha. I think I found it. Pizza was incredible and the lady up front was great. Highly recommend.
The crust was perfectly crispy with just the right amount of chew, and the toppings were fresh and flavorful. I tried the Margherita and the Pepperoni, and both were delicious in their own way. The staff was friendly and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed without being overbearing. If you’re in Omaha and looking for a great place to grab a slice, Brick Oven Pizzeria is definitely worth checking out!
INCREDIBLE pizza shop to go to if you have dairy or gluten allergies or sensitivities. My husband has a severe dairy allergy that flares up if he has something made in the same facility or equipment as dairy.
Once we arrived, we were greeted by the sweetest, most understanding woman (who I assume is the owner). She told us everything on the menu that was dairy-free and was extremely patient. She even knew off the top of her head what dairy-free cheese they use (which is Daiya) and made it a point to tell us that all the crusts were dairy-free.
They have dairy-free appetizers, Pizzas, and even desserts (including a vegan cheesecake!!!). All their specialty Pizzas you can customize to make dairy free and they have two different options for gluten free crusts. They also have vegan meat toppings and appetizers. Plenty of vegan and allergy free options. I would visit this place a lot more often if I didn't live halfway across the nation!
I absolutely love Brick Oven Pizzeria! I was so excited to try this place and they did not disappoint. I’ve picked up an order and had an order delivered and the quality was top notch for both orders. Next time, we will try dining in. The place looks great! The Specialty pizza options are unique in a great way and they have plenty of topping options if you want to build your own. Great crust, delicious sauce and perfect topping distribution. You can’t go wrong with a pizza from Brick Oven. See photo below - we couldn’t wait to dig in! ????
If I could give this place a 4.5 star rating, I would.
First time visit. First contact (9/6 around 630pm) with a sweet lady was awesome. Ordered 2 slices "jumbo pizza" and when it came in a to go box(which I asked for) it was not sliced. So make sure you mention to them if you want them sliced or not.
The parking lot is cramped and very small. I saw this place via their truck ad. Clever place to park.
Their sauce was outta the world. DELICIOUS. Cheese had good flavor and the pepperoni was tasteful but not too spicy. Dough was so good and chewy yet crunchy on the bottom but not overdone. Perfect.
It is bigger than it looks on the inside from the outside. Nice ambient lighting.
I ordered 2 slices so I could eat one now and then see how it hold up after reheating. I ate a whole slice in the store and then as I was driving home about 15 minutes away, I found myself reaching over to open the box and nimble on a few bites here and there. By the time I got home only the crust was left so I let my son sample it.
Guess I'll have to buy more to test how well it repeats. Good problem to have.
I would recommend you order ahead due to limited parking space along the front of the building.
Why not 5 star? The price. For what I got, it should be 5ish. But as you bite down into the pizza, I forgot about the price.
It was that good. Ill be back.
The lady behind the counter was great to deal with, but my wife and I didn't love the pizza. The thin crust was more of a hand tossed or medium thickness but I would not consider it to be thin. We've been trying to get here for a while and ended up being a little disappointed based on the reviews and other things we had heard. Pizza was certainly better than any chain place but not in our top 3 or 4 in the metro area.
Honestly one of the best places i've ever eaten. The atmosphere is like home and the staff are all some of the friendliest people i've met. They're earnest, hardworking and kind.
And the food is delicious. I'm not actually a fan of pizza, but this pizza is the only exception. The dough is a perfect medium between crisp and soft, and it's never so much that you're choking on it. The toppings all taste fresh, the cheese pulls and is delicious and the sauce also tastes incredibly fresh.
And granted, the building is tucked away in a small, unassuming spot with an odd parking lot- but that's what makes it a hidden gem. It's kind of special in that regard. 10/10 would suggest giving it a try. This isn't a place to be in a rush, either. Just sit and enjoy.
