Stopped while on a trip through. I had an omelette. The omelette was superb while the side of biscuit and gravy was disappointing. The gravy was that bland mix. Otherwise I loved the service and the friendly atmosphere and would stop again.
Traditional diner/cafe style breakfast. I live nearby and visit Brenda’s often. Service has always been very good. Food is reliable. I’ve only ever been for breakfast but it is always good. Reasonable prices as well. I know they have dinner hours sometimes but have never been. They have pie and cake in the case but have never had any. Plenty of parking but can get busy some mornings.
Great lunch, was greeted by Brenda herself, and her granddaughter waited on us. The chicken fried chicken was delicious, mash potatoes with gravy and spinach were equally enjoyed. Sweet was freshly brewed and the Key Lime Pie made in house was a nice finish. Definitely worth having a meal or two when in the area
Great place for breakfast
Generous portions of delicious breakfast fare. Corned Beef Hash was just right, bacon was crispy and hash browns couldn't have been better. The service was great, too. The perfect balance of being attentive without hovering. I'm already looking forward to visiting again to try other items on the menu. I'll update when we get to judge lunch there.

Brenda's was a lovely Texas-style surprise. I'm from Texas and a good chicken fried steak is very hard to find outside of the Lone Star state. Brenda's does it right! So happy to find this place. ????
From Pagosa Springs to Durango, Colorado. This is my favorite place to have breakfast. Food is consistently cooked very delicious. The employees are very pleasant and a sweetheart ????
