Best WLM Reviews
Our first time here and it definitely won't be our last! Service was friendly and fast. Restaurant is clean. The food was absolutely outstanding. We both had the special open faced roast beef sandwich on fresh homemade bread and if I didn't know better I'd think my grandma had made it. We had a slice of custard pie and the brown bag apple pie which is easily the best apple pie I've ever had. I cannot recommend enough! 10/10
It's a local favorite diner - with a wait out the door! Cash only - no credit cards - but there's an ATM right outside the door for $2 extra service fee.
Food was diner food - nothing fancy. Home cooking kind of deal. Pie is really good but will sell out by end of day so get there earlier for your pickings.
Good service but very busy. Atmosphere on a cold day is homey and inviting. If you're here in Amish country and want to eat like the locals do - stop by and enjoy.
Nearly perfect country diner vibe and food. The people are very friendly and helpful. The food is classic comfort food and excellent. The portions are generous but not absurd. You won't have room for dessert but get pie anyway. The prices are reasonable and the restaurant is casual. I would definitely go back.
Favorite stop for food in Berlin. The trail bologna with swiss cheese is a must try. The noodles over mashed potatoes are another favorite. Pies are yummy if you have room after lunch! Service is always great. May run into a wait at times and remember to bring cash or check for payment, no cards. With low prices and great food though, it's worth the stop!
How can you visit Amish Country and not stop here for lunch.
The trail bologna is awesome and so is anything else we have tried.
Lines can be long at times and that should tell you something about the food. It’s good.
Really good food. Everything from service to food was good. Really enjoyed a home cooked meal. Older dinner like environment, but the food and quality it the best.
No buffet but lots of delicious choices on the menu. Breakfast and lunch/dinner choices. We stopped in several times on our trip. Definitely one of the best restaurants in Amish country. Wonderful service from friendly staff. Even if there was a line it moved fast for us.
Classic diner serving up Amish/Midwestern specialties. Service was kind. Would return.
