Wonderful place!! I go here every summer and I'm blown away everytime. The lady who runs it is super sweet and very knowledgeable. The books are a great price and there is a vast variety of genres and authors. I spend an average of 30 minutes to an hour just going through all the books and talking to the owner. There is even a spot for the kids to sit and read books as the adults continue looking around. By far my favorite book store that I have ever been to. Can't wait to go back again!!
Do not go off the google hours. Took a long drive out to the shop only to find a sign on the door saying the place was closed.
Parents and teachers run, not walk, to this store. Small but has many good books. I don't know the name of the owner who helped me but she is awesome. Also, children under a certain age (not sure) may choose one book a week under $5.
A lovely little used book shop with a pretty large selection of newer releases and banned books. The owner was fantastic to talk to, you can definitely tell that books are her personal passion.
Wonderful atmosphere and lots of great books for all ages. My three year old loves to visit.
Jen the owner is the nicest lady. She has a great selection of books. Most of the time I buy books from her 3 for a dollar paperback rack. I also bring in a ton of used books. She treats me like I am her best customer. She treats everybody like that way. She is a big supporter of local causes. I love the place
My family loves Books Ink. Jennifer, the owner, is so friendly amd knowledgeable. She cares about her community and spends time getting to know her customers and serving them with events, book club, and partnering with the Portland library and local businesses. Her store is full of older treasures as well as recent books at great prices.
I just love going to Jennifer's bookstore! I love the atmosphere even more then Barnes and noble or half price books,her store has that personal touch that makes you feel right at home! Her pricing is just and reasonable, and I now always go to her store first when looking for anything to add in my collection of books! It sure beats driving out into corpus!
