Ivy was amazing!!!! First tattoo I've had dine by a female artist and I love it!!!
Amber has done my dragon and both of my legs and is currently working on my butt and I absolutely love it. She is the best tattoo artist and the only tattoo artist. I will let work on my ink.
I went for a flash tattoo for Halloween, picked out a stencil and the lady completely ruined it. Her hand was very rough and now that it’s healed, resulted in the ink blending and now it’s like a black smudge. I will be getting this redone/covered as soon as I have the money. They didn’t even bother to give us a wrap or even plastic wrap for when we left and the hygiene was very questionable.They also had a dog inside that was using a training pad to pee and poop on right next to the artists station and it was very uncomfortable and gross.
Another thing— if you care about animals don’t go to this place, they support dolphin tanks and the abuse the animals put up with but cover it with lies saying it’s “a sanctuary” and then when you politely try and tell the owner about places to support that do care, your comments get deleted. Please find a better place to support, Body & Soul Tattoo is not worth the time and money. I will never step foot in this place again.
“You were happy with your tattoo” is putting words in my mouth. Of course I’m going to say thank you and be polite but that doesn’t mean it’s the truth. I fully meant it when I said I’m covering it up with a better artists take on the tattoo. Your tattoo shop is unsanitary with no aftercare and you didn’t even address the dog pooping and peeing in the tattoo station.
I want to hear your excuse for the dog peeing and pooping in the studio right in the station.
Edit: of course the dog was adorable, but that doesn’t mean it should be in the studio. Get a babysitter for the dog. I’m done arguing with you, if you’re so blind to see the flaws in your shop.
The fact that many of their employees have very little ink should have been my first clue. The quality is simply not there. I watched one of the artists literally scribbling what should have been a gradient fade on my daughter’s arm. Not a sanitary environment, and the aftercare instructions are completely outdated. You’ll be walking out of the shop with your fresh tat fully exposed and advised to keep it that way.
Not to mention they are immature and not open to having conversations. I made a polite comment expressing concern on a Facebook post. My comment was deleted and I was blocked.
I’ve been coming here for years! Amber is my girl! Very creative and professional and the shop is always sparkling clean. Piercing or tattoo this is the best shop to get it done at!
Wonderful artists. Went in on a sunday when they are usually closed with my friend who was moving to Southern California. Called owners and one artist (Amber I believe) offered to come in to do our tattoos. One of the best experiences at a tattoo shop I've ever had. Her work was excellent and she was very kind.
Ivy is such a great soul to have at this shop. She is sooooo talented, I got 2 tattoos from her and I absolutely love them!!! My dad, brother, and his gf all got some art done by Ivy as well. #FamilyThatGetsTatsTogetherStaysTogether lol
The shop is clean and I love the vibe overall. It is a smaller shop but that just adds to the very friendly and close-knit feel inside.
We all totally enjoyed our time at Body & Soul. It was definitely worth the drive and we WILL be coming back for more ????❣️????????
2nd tattoo appointment update (7/12/23):
Today I came in to get an astrological goddess tattooed on me. I'm am aries and I wanted to really have something more fitting for me and my strong &resilient nature. Ivy sketched together a beautiful piece with all the tiny details just as I imagined them, this is one of the bigger pieces I have done in one session and Ivy made me just as comfortable as usual. She has her laptop up with all the streaming services on there for you to choose from if you wish to watch something to make the time pass so I put something on Netflix she started making my vision come alive. After just shy of 3 hours I feel soooo happy with how everything turned out and I will definitely be back soon for some more beautiful ink. Thank you so much again Ivy, you are the best!!! *more pictures to come*
What a great experience with rhino! I would highly recommend them. I absolutely love my new tattoo. We came in for the flash sell for Friday the 13th and this was just above and beyond what I expected. Thank you
