Greeted politely. Seated quickly. Our waitress was Elizabeth. She was spectacular. Was there with my brother, we enjoy our coffee a bit weak, she got it absolutely perfect. The coconut goodness waffle was amazing. I love my eggs with the yolk busted and cooked over hard, literally the best order of eggs EVER!! My compliments ????????. This place offers a cash discount. Elizabeth saw we were bringing out cash and brought out a new receipt denoting the cash discount price. I recommend going with the cash discount, it saves more than you earn back with credit cards.
First timers at this cute little breakfast joint! The food was prepared quickly and was great! Portions were pretty big as well & having leftovers is always a plus for me! Vanessa (our server) was kind and attentive! I’d definitely come back here!
My visit to the National House of Pancake was delightful! The food was not only delicious but also served in generous portions, ensuring I left fully satisfied. The highlight was definitely the attentive service provided by Vanessa, who was not only sweet and very kind but also exceptional at making iced lattes. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a fun breakfast experience. Can't wait to visit again!
Elizabeth was absolutely amazing. She made our large group of 11 feel at home. She was quick with our drinks, food and making sure we were taken care of. She went over the top for us! We will definitely be requesting her for our future visits! Now on to the food and drinks, absolutely phenomenal. The portions are WELL worth the price. Their biscuits and gravy are chefs kiss, I split them with a friend and an omelet and we were so full! Their teddy bear mimosas will leave you feeling good. And their vodka and orange juice in a BOOT was phenomenal! If you haven’t had their pancakes, ????
After hearing recommendations to come, my partner and I figured we’d give NHOP a try. Right when we got to our table, our server promptly greeted us with a smile. Her name was Austin, and boy was she a sweetheart. Austin not only kept our drinks full, she checked back in to ensure we had everything we needed, and despite having to run around had a lovely conversation.
I kept it simple, with scrambled eggs and bacon while my partner tried the shrimp. I didn’t get a picture of the red velvet waffle we shared because it was gone so fast! I everything was delicious, and we will definitely be back.. (and will be asking for Austin)!
This was our first time trying National House of Pancakes. The restaurant itself was overall good. Food was great and portions are huge. Service was friendly and very fast. The atmosphere on the other hand is crowded and packed. I’m glad to see a restaurant prosper in this day and time. If you are looking for a lot of food and something unique this is the place for you. If you are looking for just a usual breakfast with the family I would suggest some of the other breakfast locations.
We absolutely loved the food! The pancakes were fluffy and melted in mouth. It was heavenly! The Mimosa was amazing and it took some time experiment how to drink it but it was really fun! ???????? The whole experience was better because of our server, Victoria who was so helpful and easy to talk to. She made our experience a 5 star one! We are definitely coming back to have some more pineapple coconut pancakes and mimosa!
We entered the place around 230 on a Sunday, entirely too crowded of a space for an entrance. People were trying to check out as we were trying to be seated. Having a funnel so people don’t just slip by walking out on their tabs was understandable, but it immediately frustrated me just walking into the place. Was sat at our table and I could tell they were in the weeds. Our server eventually made her way to our table and she was nice, ordered our food when we ordered our drinks and the food came out pretty quickly. Service kind of sowed down from there, didn’t get refills on drinks until we got our check and boxes. Plates were pretty expensive for what you got. Decided on the chicken and waffles, I at least expected the waffles to be thicker. Plate presentation was there chicken was seasoned well but was a little dry. We paid our tab with cash and gave to our server. She looked at it and said “oh okay it’s exact thank you” …. And walked away with the change I was supposed to get since I didn’t use a credit card ???????? I wasn’t worried about the two dollars but the whole point of cash was so I didn’t get charged for it. Wasn’t a fan of the TOTALLY open setup in the dining room, no dividers or anything. Definitely had a cafeteria feel. For what we got and the service we’ll find a different breakfast spot, it’s definitely a tourist trap.
