Best WLM Reviews

One of the best stays of ever had. The staff went out of their way to accommodate me. I was there for almost 2 months. Rooms were very clean. Carpet was new. Had a little cook top and full size fridge. King bed. Awesome AC. And the best thing was the humongous whirlpool tub. That was great! Clean workout facility and pool. 5 STARS! DEFINITELY RECOMMEND!
Room was clean beds were comfortable. Breakfast was great the guy in the kitchen was very helpful and very polite Ricky was his name. Kept things stocked up and clean. Pool was and hot tub was in working condition we all enjoyed the stay.
Hotel was really nice. Our room was clean and comfortable. We went to the pool and hot tub. Very clean. But hot tub didn't get hot. That's the only thing I can complain about. I had to leave early the next morning so I didn't have the breakfast. But coffee was GREAT! And there is a great Steak House right behind the hotel.
I booked a King suite online. Upon arrival I was charged for that room but was given a double queen. I had not entered the room at that time- only opened the door and realized it must have been a mistake. I went back to the front desk letting them know that was not the room I paid for and reserved. The extremely rude and passive attendant said I was not guaranteed that room unless I booked a specific “room number” which made absolutely no sense to me so I asked for an explanation. Which she continued repeated the same statement “you booked a type of room, not a room number”. Once accepting it and just gave up after asking if any other larger rooms were available we went back to the double queen. Upon entering, we counted 4 dead large bugs, an empty cleaning spray bottle on the floor and a filthy kitchenette. Again returning to the desk letting them know the room was unclean, I was ignored for a good 5 minutes then was quite literally tossed a room key to a new room which was the exact room I booked online. Ultimately we did get the room we booked but this encounter for check in was almost 45 minutes of a back and forth compiled with terrible customer service, lies about available rooms, and filthy conditions in the hotel room. We won’t be returning.
Actual conversation. Me trying to book a room at the Best Western in Wewoka;
“Best Western.”
“Is this the Best Western by the prison?”
“I don’t know about a prison.”
“Nevermind. Do you have a rate for state workers?”
“Let me see.” I’m placed on hold.
She comes back.
“Yes, we do. It’s between $60 and $80.”
“Great, I need a 1 bed on the top floor, please.”
“We only have two floors. 2nd and 3rd.”
“How many floors does the building have?”
“We only have 3.”
“Then the 3rd floor would be the top floor. So, how much would the room be?”
“$99.”
“But you said it was between $60 and $80.”
“That’s after the state discount.”
“So, how much would it be after the discount? I’m trying to rent a room and need to know the price.”
She doesn’t know.
“May I speak to a manager?”
A new lady gets on and says a manager won’t be in until in the morning and that I’ll have to call back.
“Look, I just need to know your state rate for a 1 bed for one night.”
“I’ll be right back.”
After a 5 minute hold I’m disconnected. I try several times to call back and get no answer.
An hour later I try the exact same number several times and a voice message is now saying I’ve reached Robbie Williamson. Who is he? And what has he done with the staff at the Best Western in Wewoka??
I feel like I just lived out an Abbott and Costello routine.
UPDATE: I left this review and what did I receive in reply? An apology in a form letter that’s been used in answering several unhappy customers, or in my case, a wanna be customer. How does this place stay open??
This is the nicest place to stay in or around Wewoka you won't be disappointed. The pool and breakfast was great and so was the staff. Our rooms where clean and all the toiletries where we'll stocked.
I enjoyed my stay at Wewoka. The room, carpet, surfaces, and sheets/linen were all clean. No stains. The room was beautifully updated. The fan in the bathroom didn’t work and the lights were a little dim but not a huge ????. Breakfast was great. Continental items and hot items served like Sausage, patties, sausage, biscuit, and gravy, and eggs. The location was less than 10 minutes away from the job I had to go to. So that’s a plus. My only issues were that I called a week before to see if they were pet friendly. THEY ARE NOT PET FRIENDLY. They only accept service animals. I stayed 2 nights and the manager charged me $75 per night for my small 12 lb Shih Tzu. It was ridiculous. I travel for work and have never had to pay $75 a night. So I checked out and went to a cute little bed-and-breakfast. Lastly, Jason is awesome. He had great customer service and was very knowledgeable when helping me. Thank you.
Best Best Western Plus! The room was better than others I've stayed in recently (5 or 6 in the last few weeks).
