Absolutely dirty room, chair had a bunch of dead bugs on it floor was stained and dirty. Bed was hard as a roc, do yourself a favor and skip this place. Overall horrible hotel if you can call it that.
Better than I expected for a motel, especially for the price. The front desk personnel were very helpful, nice and friendly. Clean rooms other than the toilet seat being round on an oblong toilet. The bed was comfy. Love the Dove products. Would stay again if in the area.
Positive: Location Negative: Job cancelled the installation a block from the hotel, never moved my personal belongings in or stayed in the room. Called an hour after checking in and was told they wouldn't refund me back. I have another install in a few weeks, I won't be staying there Negative: ""
The room we had needed a lot of maintenance cosmetics and fixtures and ceiling. Bed sunk into the middle. Husband and I slept horribly. Price was good but rooms look nothing like the ads. Not sure we will stay again if in that area again.
Called the local number an made reservations for April 19th on 3/30/24.
20 days in advance for two double bed rooms for the night got a confirmation email on the 18th go to check in on the 19th an was told they didn’t have any rooms left that it was first come first serve an that others had made reservations 4 months in advance but yet there was a man in front of us that had two rooms an was getting 6 more so he probably got are two rooms we reserved.
After this experience a the looks of the place we will never do business with them again.
Ended up staying at the Hampton inn two rooms were 500.00 there for the one night without reservations.
Everyone outside is smoking I can barely breathe. The employees were nice. The walls had mold on them, the toilet paper is rough, the toilet paper holder was practically falling out the wall, the light in the bathroom is about to fall out any minute, and the shower curtain had mold. Don’t recommend coming here
I recently stayed at the Baymont, due to my mother’s untimely passing. Grabbed up my brother from the house that he stayed at with our mom, and took him to the hotel with me the night she passed away.
My brother hasn’t left the house in 2 years, since my dad passed away in 2021. I chose Baymont because of my budget and the location.
The night our mother passed, we were checked in by a very warm and professional woman (wish I could remember her name), it may have been Andrea. The next morning, the same woman was very informative and helpful. That definitely helped my decision in staying another night.
That next morning however, was a completely different vibe. I decided to stay another night and walked down to the front desk, and when I entered, I walked into the sound of laughter and people happily talking small talk (this vibe, I loved, and initially made me happy, despite having the look of utter sadness on my face).
When one of the individuals noticed I was standing at the counter, they motioned to the person that had their backed turned to me that someone was at the desk (which is totally fine. I didn’t know if they worked there and I didn’t want to interrupt).
When the woman turned around, the look of happiness quickly left her face and I was greeted with a cold, “hello”. Completely different from the merriment I walked into. I was then given a cold explanation of the rate increase, and made my booking with a third party.
It went downhill from there for the rest of my stay. From an awkward encounter with Carrol (the front desk associate) at the drink machine, to her breaking down the continental breakfast area, making me feel extremely uncomfortable and not welcomed while I waited for my waffle to finish cooking, and when requesting a 12pm checkout for my final morning with the hotel (I stayed from Wednesday night, until Saturday morning, all the while dealing with funeral homes, family, memorial planning, and my mothers viewing), to be brought to the head of housekeeping for my floor (Priscilla), for Carrol to ask her in front of me if a , “12pm checkout alright with you?”, Carrol, then snickered at Priscilla’s response of, “It’s ok”.
Housekeeping did a wonderful job and were very kind and warm. I can’t say the same for the front desk associate, Carrol.
You never know what another individual is going through, and in the hospitality industry, it is very important to make sure that ALL of your guests feel welcomed and comfortable. My brother and I did not during the last half of our stay. We will not be coming back.
Service was outstanding. I felt bad because it would have warmed a 4+ star if it weren't for the beds and the rusty toilet paper holder. I can help but think this may be an issue on the corporates side but Carol and her staff were excellent and accommodating. Beautiful blessed bunch of ladies!
