I had a vehicle serviced back in Sept 2023 and they got it running, they replaced the water pump and it wasn’t leaking anymore. The service was pretty quick from a day to another and it was affordable compared to other places. Sad to see them close recently.
Grandmother called and got a bid on a job.
Paid the money picked the car up today to find out the issue was not even fixed. Same codes on car same issues with car… sooooooo what was she charged for if nothing was done.
Called to address the issue and told it would be another $300 something for an electrician to come in. First off no, you don’t get to charge someone that amount of money to do absolutely no repairs, and then expect another $300. Didn’t give a proper bid in the first place. But we are fine going else where but expecting a refund as the work was not done.
The crew at auto aide are very friendly and get the work done at a reasonable price. They offer military discounts as well.
Deceptive business practices!
I called for a price on replacing a starter on my truck. I gave all of my vehicle details and was given a quote of $200-$300 plus towing. After having it towed, I was called and told that after checking my vin, it was now going to be $480 even though I had given all of the vehicle details in advance. When I went to pick it up, the price was now $505. When I asked why they simply said there was extra labor for removing a heat shield. Again, they had all of the vehicle information when i called the first time. Just beware
I was referred to Auto Aid through a friend who highly recommended them for quality service at an affordable rate. She has used this repair place for years and trusts them implicitly. I’m glad because I’m from out of town and only here to help my daughter who was broken down in town on her way for emergency room treatment. James was everything she said he was! Quick, honest, inventive with solutions and cost saving techniques, etc. He didn’t “man-splain” like so many other places would. He didn’t over-charge and in fact resolved our issue with the least cost to us. My daughter is a customer for life now and I sincerely wish he had a location in Ft Worth too. Thank you, James! You were such a blessing to us during this very difficult time. I believe everyone should come see you for repairs.

The service he provides is unique to the area. You may rent time in a bay, using shop tools. You may rent a bay, and utilize help from the staff. You also have the option of having them do the work, like a standard garage.
James was extremely helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable! His outstanding service and teaching was instrumental in my son fixing the next project on his car. I am glad to see a young entrepreneur with enthusiasm. More auto shops should look at his business model. Great prices!
I've been here several times to use their lifts and tools. Always helpful, always friendly. I was never unpleasantly surprised by their prices either. For us military guys that are either waiting on our tools to arrive or don't have access to the auto hobby shop on base since we can't seem to keep it open, this place is a great resource!
