Very bad experience. Ordered an omelet and pointed to it on the menu for the waitress. Also pointed to the sides to clarify. Ordered an Orange juice, but it did not come. I was asked if I wanted water and I again asked for a orange juice. I was brought a. Orange Soda. Finally got the waitress to understand I wanted orange juice. My Hungry Jack omelet was rung up as a Hungry man breakfast, so I received that, but again clarified that I wanted an omelet. The Manager had to come confirm my order. When the omelet arived, it was uncooked I the middle with runny raw egg. They also charged for fresh squeezed OJ that had no pulp and tasted like canned. Even though they took the omelet off my check, I will not return. Go to Skillet instead. Better service and food.
The food was great!. The soup was so filling I only finished 1/2. The Crepes, if you remember the OG “ Pancake House” you’d remember they were known for the pancakes and the crepes and stuff. Well the review you guys needed is here!
The crepes tasted exactly like before but a whole lot better ! Everything was juicy, the soup had tons of flavor ????!!!! The fries had that same type of crispy ness as before. I wouldn’t have recommended it after the pandemic but since going back they’ve done a complete turnaround . My family will do going back ! I’ll admit the downside was the wait time it was 40 to get food but, we did get seated right away tho!
Menu is amazing has numerous options. Food is great staff moves fast. Kid friendly and affordable. Very affordable! Many options come with fries,or fruit and soup or salad. Like wow fill me up. Loved this place
A great place for breakfast since the 70s. A hidden gem, if you will, overlooking downtown Aurora. The baked apple cake won't disappoint. So many options that come in portions you'll have a hard time finishing.
Updated review: Food is still delicious. Staff were decent. Food came out in stages and we had to remind the server about bringing out or salad, but still overall good experience.
Previous review: Delicious food. Great staff. We were seated quickly, and safely distanced from others stupid Covid-19. After ordering the food came promptly. Temperatures of the food were appropriate as well.
I love dining here, the food is always fresh and delicious with very generous portions. The atmosphere is dated but clean and comfortable. All in all it’s a great place for a very good and reasonably priced meal.
Had breakfast that consisted of half an order of biscuits and gravy, side order of bacon and a hot cappuccino. All were very good. But it was cold sitting by the window and absolutely freezing in the women's washroom which they clearly knew about because when my mom complained, the lady smiled.
Nice local spot! It is very outdated but the food is on point! I went there for breakfast with my family. We all enjoyed the food! The only thing the inside needs to be kept better and add some more light in there.
