Really amazing no-frills korean food! We got the kalbi combo plate with calamari. The kalbi was so tender and flavorful and the calamari was very light, the tempura was not greasy and the squid was not rubbery or overcooked.
The food is a very generous portion and comes with four sides/banchan. My favorites were the eggplant and japchae(korean style glass noodles)
Very tasty food at great prices, and the staff are very friendly too. Will definitely return!

This place has amazing meats and sides! The Korean fried Chicken and the kalbi ribs were amazing! Some of the best food in Hilo for sure! The price was also extremely reasonable and we came back multiple times. Portions were great!
Great Korean food. I just got there 10 minutes before closing and was greated with a warm welcome and delicious bbq beef.

The owner responded to a guest pondering what to order “there are three tough decisions you have to make today (1) how big do you want? (1) what four sides you’d like? And the most difficult (2) chopsticks or fork?”
He’s so right because you won’t go wrong with what you decide! So yummy for a quick bite.
Excellent food and great prices. Taste is very authentic and service friendly/ quick.
Small little place, 4 people in at a time. Small portions of vegetables sides but big on taste! Main dish and rice, decent average amount. We had the meat jun and fish jun. both seasoned perfectly. Meat was tender and fish was flaky. Very reasonably priced. Takes awhile to get your food so be prepared to wait. But very delicious all around as with all good things that take time are.
