Best WLM Reviews
Bought my 4L80E for my 2000 sierra 2500 2WD in 2012 from Autozone with 3 year warranty. I don't drive my 2500 very often. It had about 5000 miles on the transmission and it went out. Just after the warranty was over. I would never buy from them again. Should have lasted more than 5000 miles. I don't even pull anything more than a 18 foot car trailer occasionally with it.
We had two transactions installed, first one was damaged inside. Second cracked under 2000 miles. The company won’t return calls or emails.
Oreillys can’t get them to process the return or repair. Every part has been replaced on this truck the transmission from All Trans have been the biggest problem. The company doesn’t seem to care.
I got fired from here they use bad parts and rusty parts inside there transnissions and they let people with no experience build them
Worst warranty transaction. It took them almost three months to process my claim after their transmission failed, then they only paid less than half of the repair costs. They wouldn't even pay for the trans cooler flush that needed to be done after their trans had an internal failure, but if you don't flush the cooler the warranty is voided.Talked to Rich most of the time and got the run around from day one. These guys are truly as crooked as they come. One star is one to many for these jokers. Beware and believe all the negative reviews they have.
I would like to update my review, since I posted Pete Costello has reached out to me and I expressed my frustration with the whole transaction, he sincerely apologized for the problem I encountered with his company and agreed that Rich should have paid the parts and labor for the flush procedure and made proper adjustments to the claim. I understand that failures in components occur and parts fail and it all comes down to how the warranty claim is handled, that is how you keep or lose customers. I am grateful to Pete for reaching out to me and listening to my concerns, I hope they can do some serious training to the employees that are in direct contact with customers and that they understand the value in good customer service. it can make all the difference in the world. my previous review was on star, I will change that to a three star because I do believe they want to do the right thing, unfortunately a little too late.
Have bought 3 now thru O'Reilly's from them , not had one single issue so far , 2 we're GM TH350 transmissions and a 700R4 a have 50,000 plus miles without any issues. Sorry but most these reviews are 2 plus years old and most are installer error.
I have been doing business with All trans for a little over 18 years. Customer service has never been a problem. Never have had a problem with their transmission work, except for once. That one time, they offered to pick up the truck themselves, remove the transmission, repair it and delivered the truck back to us. Needless to say that was about 7 years ago and customer still owns the truck and its running great.
Do not use these people at all cost. They will rip you off and not care. We ordered a transmission at the end of January 2016, we got it within 2 weeks. We got it installed and our jeep running. We hadn't even had our jeep back two weeks before the transmission started messing up. It wouldn't shift out of first gear. It was a Sunday when this happened, so we got our jeep to our mechanic and waited until Monday morning to call the company. We got on the phone with the company and they kept wanting to run test. They said they would call us back, but never did. We had to keep calling them to get an answer and all the techs wanted to say the same thing to run a test and call the mechanic. We finally got it figured out that it was a bad transmission and had a new one on the way. After we dropped the first transmission to get the second one, we found there was a huge HOLE in the side of the transmission. We got our new transmission in, and they sent us ANOTHER bad transmission. When we called to confront them about it to get a refund, they said it was not their fault and the transmissions are in perfect condition when they leave their building. I confronted them about the hole in the other transmission and they wanted to tell me, "there has to be a hole for the wires to connect". Obviously aware that transmissions don't come with holes, I told them no, this was obviously a damage hole. Again, not wanting to take responsibility, the man I talked to wanted to blame it on transportation. But joke is on him, the transmission was shipped in a HUGE casing, which had no damage to it. So as we went to get our refund, we were told, in order to get a refund you have to give us the transmission we sent you. So we gave them our original transmission, the first bad one and a couple thousand dollars and we had to give them back the transmission to get our money back. So after days of fighting with the company and working with AutoZone Corporate, we decided the best thing we could do it take the complete refund and sell our jeep without a transmission. DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE AT ALL COST. They are only concerned with themselves and could careless if you're problem gets fixed. A family friend, who is VERY SAVVY with vehicles, took out the last transmission and realized what they had thrown together for it, and IT WAS NOT BUILT WITH THE INTENTION TO LAST. I wish someone would have told us to avoid these people at all cost!!!!
I work at a dealership. I got a trans through autozone for an 08 e250 installed it and customer was on his way 8000 miles and less than a year later trans was junk. I received a replacement under warranty and installed again and customer was on his way one more time and this time less than 4 months and the trans is garbage again . I think that they need to step up their quality control over at all trans so the can deliver a product that should easily last 100,000 miles . Unfortunately the transmissions in my opinion are junk
