I haven’t had Delilah’s hair done in years! I’ve always been frustrated trying to schedule something. I walked in here and was able to schedule something the same week. I thought it would take all day…it only took a few hours…and her hair looks great!! I love it ???? Thank you!!!
UPDATE: Just had her hair done again today...looks INCREDIBLE!! and on SHORT NOTICE as well!!
I did not want to leave a bad review but I realized my hard earned money is just as good as anyone’s. Before I say anything negative I’d like to point out that the ladies were very friendly, seemingly hard working, and the other clients who were in the chairs ahead of me had beautiful extravagant braids. Unfortunately I did not get a nice job done like them ????
I asked for a simple 2 braid hairstyle with 2 smaller ones on the side. The most basic style anyone could ever ask for.
I walked in a simple human woman, and walked out looking like Alien vs Predator ???? it’s a shame I cannot post pictures with this review.
I paid them, and left completely crushed. I went home and removed them immediately. The most disappointing $70 I ever spent ???? I hope your results are much better than mine ????????
First, when I arrived the place was a bit run down and not professional looking. I arrived wearing a mask and noticed my stylist did not have one on so I asked if she wore a mask and she reported no not wearing one and if I wanted to continue to have my hair done. I reluctantly agreed because I was in a jam and didn't have anywhere to go since locating to Florida from Chicago. Second problem, I asked her to make a slight change to my hair and she became annoyed. I only had two braids with a part down the middle not much work. Overall, this is not a professional place but if you are in a jam and need your hair done. It will do.
I recently visited Tashia African Hair Braiding shop. I moved to this area last year and was surprised to find a shop that did hair braiding in Clearwater. Tashia did an AWESOME job on my hair. She is very informative about hair growth and keeping your hair healthy. I will be going back in the future.????
They were able to get me in last minute and give me exactly what I showed them in the picture. My braids are longer than what I anticipated and I am not complaining! Will definitely be back! Oh and they're fast (individually) nevermind when they work together! Thanks ladies!
Be flexible in your schedule. You can wait up to an hour after you arrive for your appointment to get in the chair. The stylists do a great job! You'll leave pleased with your new hairdo.
This place is run down and disgusting! There's a woman who works there (Not the owner Eva) who is so rude and unprofessional! Doesn't even know how to answer the calls and doesn't know how to communicate! I would stay away from this place! This place should be reported to the State because of the unhealthy sanitary environment! Would have left a zero star rating but too bad there's no option to do so. Bunch of rude West Africans working here!
I asked for a sew in and literally had to guide the stylist how to fix the gap in my leave out and braid. Then I had to properly flat iron my leave out because she did Not know how to and slapped blue magic on top????????????♀️. I had to fix my own hair when I got home . NEVER AGAIN
