Probably the most convenient parking structure for shopping in downtown SLO. Fairly certain prices have risen recently and the old days of the pay station closing down late at night are gone. If you're looking for a convenient place to find a parking spot, go here, If you're looking for cheap and can walk, just go with off street parking, there's usually plenty.
We parked here for 2 hours. The first hour was free so we paid $3. Safe parking garage.
Terrible experience!! Went to pay but the booth would not take my card and it was card only, apparently, with no attendant in sight. So I backed up, which was super sketchy but my only option. Finally get turned around and find someone to help. She directs me to a cash pay station OUTSIDE the structure, so after circling and circling, I re-park and then realize the machine never spit out my ticket with how much I owed, so I drag my two small children ON FOOT back across this structure at dusk with tons of cars whizzing by (super dangerous) to find the girl and explain once again and ask “Can I just give you cash? We really want to go home” Luckily she tells me she can override it (the whole time?? Knowing I have kids I’m lugging around??? Really couldn’t tell me that sooner???) and let me out. Imagine being TRAPPED in a parking garage with your two small children at near dark! OVER THREE DOLLARS!! Oh… that’s another thing… we were only in there for 30 mins! What happened to the days when it was first hour free? I’m in your town to spend money and bring in revenue yet you make it extra difficult on people. Ugh I won’t be parking in there again!!! Off street parking only for me or better yet, I’ll spend my money in any other town in this county. Extremely upset, dissatisfied and disappointed in the direction slo has gone in recent years.
I detest the fact that you have to pay for parking now, regardless of how little time you have used.
All you need to know is that this multistory garage is located in the prime, bustling shopping and dining district of San Luis Obispo city.After a short period of free parking. there hourly timed fees but they are modest. Also, there are an ample number of free handicapped parking slots on the ground floor. For everyone else there are stairs and an elevator.
Paid structure. If you can not find street parking for an under hour stop go to structure. It is safe and no stress place for all day downtown shopping fun.
Worst parking structure ever the parking spots are to narrow and now they charge more lame
Nice parking structure and is kept fairly clean but the quick pay machines suck, they rarely work, and the instructions on the front it are ridiculous
