6-1-Pho offers a nice casual atmosphere and delicious food. The staff is friendly, and quick. The ingredients are fresh and the broth is also very tasty. My only gripe is the beef can be fatty/chewy so I prefer to get the chicken bowl. If you're not bothered by that though, you can't really go wrong with anything here!
Edit: I go here about once a week, and the other times I've been here, the beef has been better. Changed from 4⭐ to 5⭐. An excellent place to eat ????
10/10 chef's kiss ???????????????? been going here for YEARS! I've never ventured out too far when it comes to eating/trying foods other than what I was use to. I'll tell you this - what a mistake! First time I came here I ordered the Pho soup bowl w/everything, beef for the protein along with beef broth. I have never gotten anything different, since. The flavor is absolutely amazing. The bean sprouts give the soup a nice little crunch . *Mouth watering & stomach growling typing this*
I do wish it came with a little more beef. I rip the pieces up so it last longer. It's $4.75 for added beef protein , a little high I think...
The fresh ingredients are also a big plus! Certainly increases the taste.
Love dining in , atmosphere is lovely, calm and not very loud (depending if it's super busy, the standing/sitting room isn't that big.) it is always very clean! obviously the wonderful aroma is an added bonus ; which I do believe is from the broth! As well as, it being made fresh. Ladddled from big ol pot to big bowl! Steaming hot ! ???? ????
My husband has tried 2 of their "sandwiches/subs" - not sure what you'd call it - they weren't bad, but didn't make a big impression. The bun vs protein/veggie combo is off. Way too much bread of the little you get on it. My opinion it would be better with a pita or tortilla sort of wrap. They do seem to go light on the proteins with different items, I've noticed.
Getting to-go is awesome too. Secured containers! Keep in the heat very well. + You get free Tupperware ???? getting it to-go is just as good as dining in, as long as you get that broth still really hot. Thick brown paper bag to carry it. Offered/given spoon and chopsticks ????.

Overall LOL great freaking place!! Wish there were more locations than just this one ! I'm scared to try anywhere else tho.

This was recommended to us by a local friend. It's a build your own Pho and beyond delicious! You get a good amount of noodles, proteins, and add-ons. Basically, you won't have to scour the bowl to find hidden pieces of meat under tons of noodles. It's all in equal proportion. The Chicken Bahn-Mi is glorious. Love the crunch of cucumber with it. If you are in the area, give it a try. They have indoor and outdoor seating.
Heard about this from 614Now, advertising the PhoRrito. Was in the area, so stopped in to try it, and didn't disappoint! Flavorful and fresh tasting, the only thing that would have made it better is if they used rice paper instead of burrito wrap, which is the flavor and consistency I was expecting. Still, what a great concept, especially for a hot day when you're feeling pho, but don't want to eat hot noodles.

Absolutely delicious!
I veered a bit on the ‘plain’ side simply because that’s just how I prefer to eat. Ordered the chicken w/ rice noodles. It also came stuffed with crispy onions. The chicken was tender and juicy & I was given a very generous portion. The onions added that complimentary bit of crunch that made the meal all that more enjoyable. I also had a side of sriracha mayo dipping sauce. YUM!
All the flavors came together exquisitely!

The homies and I had a craving for banh mi/pho and had to investigate the best Viet spots in Columbus. This is how we landed on 6-1-Pho. As another reviewer mentioned, it’s like the Vietnamese chipotle. You go through a line and can pick toppings for your pho. I got their combo meat special pho and was very pleased. The broth was flavorful and not too sweet as some places make it. There was a generous portion of meat. Overall the size of the bowl was decent too. A very satisfying meal. My friends got the bowl of rice with chicken and the banh mi. The bread for the banh mi wasn’t a typical toasted baguette that we’re used to but it wasn’t bad. All in all I say it’s a good place you get your banh mi and pho cravings addressed. Random aside - the bathroom was very clean as well.
Went here with friends for dinner but was a little disappointed by the lack of flavor. Wish the beef slices were thinner and fresher. And not worth the high price. Otherwise service is very fast. Very cute interior design. Nice staff.
6-1-Pho is the restaurant I most regularly frequent in Columbus. I like it a lot and the prices are good, the food is even better and the workers are always friendly.
What I like about this place is the food can satisfy a meat eater, a vegan, or a gluten free person all the same. I generally get the marinated tofu pho and my partner the chicken pho- both are great and I think their broth is perfect. They started using flatter noodles which are less good than the more round noodles they used to use so I hope they switch back!
I get to go and they have this down to a science- they have a good packing system that makes sure you don’t spill and the food tastes good when you get it home.
