Best WLM Reviews

Five stars isn’t enough to capture how incredible our dining experience was today.
I decided to treat my mom to a nice dinner, and I had heard great things about 1933 Lounge from others I know. I’m glad I picked here to eat!
The ambiance was the first thing I noticed. It screams speakeasy in the best way possible while still being relaxing. There’s a variety of seating styles from regular tables to couches to high-tops. We got a regular table, and the chairs were very comfortable, making it easy for us to relax and take in everything around us.
Our server, Richard, was fantastic and hilarious. He added to the experience by being professional while adding in sparks of hilarity to make us comfortable and at ease. I had him surprise me with his choice of a zero-proof cocktail at the beginning and a dessert at the end. Richard stuck with a consistent theme and nailed it on his recommendations. He also went out of his way to provide my mom additional utensils just in case she wanted to try my starter or dessert.
The zero-proof cocktail I was recommended was the blue basil spritz. The flavor profile was very well-balanced, with blueberry being the star of the show while still letting lemon and basil come through as well.
I ordered the USDA strip steak with a loaded baked potato and navy bean soup. The soup came out first, and I’m not exaggerating or being dramatic when I say it’s the best soup I’ve ever had in my life. It was very flavorful, and all the ingredients complement each other very well. I underestimated the size of the steak, because my goodness was it huge. It was amazing, with plenty of juiciness and a good marble on top. I got my steak cooked medium well, and it was cooked to perfection. It was also easy to cut through and chew on without being underdone. The loaded baked potato lived up to its first word, with plenty of toppings to make it very enjoyable. The portion sizes for everything were appropriate for the price point in my opinion.
My mom got the king crab grilled cheese, and she really enjoyed it! I tried a small bite, and I thought it was good. She accompanied it with a caesar salad, to which she said was good. (I didn’t try it only because I had my own food to worry about!)
At the end, Richard picked out the white chocolate blueberry bread pudding for us. When I tell you that they don’t skimp out on the portions for this dessert, I say that with my whole chest. The presentation was very well-done, and the flavor profile was divine. All the elements harmonized well together. I personally was expecting a much-thinner base, but I’m genuinely happy with what we were given.
The food presentation really stood out, with everything looking attractive and well-thought-out with placement and proximity. I also enjoyed the fact that we were given a larger vase-like glass to refill our waters so that we didn’t have to bother our server constantly for refills.
Overall, our dining experience was phenomenal. It is on the pricier side admittedly, but you’re paying for high-quality food and a delightful atmosphere. We will make it a point to come back soon to try out some of the other dishes that we didn’t get to today!
If you’re in the area and you’re looking for a pleasant dining experience on the higher end, I highly recommend trying out 1933 Lounge!
St Elmo's downtown still the best but like Harry and Izzy's a nice substitute closer to home. Our Gluten Free / Celiac crew were impressed. Waiter knew his stuff. Manager came out and explained how they prepare the food. Well done. The shrimp cocktail is amazing. Cleans out the sinuses. The steaks are so tender. Expensive but worth it.
The food was pretty bland, and nothing stood out. Had the sliders with ceaser salad. The shrimp were plump, but the "special" sauce of ketchup and horseradish punches you right in the mouth. I personally would prefer cocktail sauce. The restaurant itself could use some updating as things looked a bit worn. Probably won't come back anytime soon.
Honestly really enjoyed my meal! Our server was very friendly and attentive! One of the people in our group had a gluten allergy so not only did the server have great recommendation but the manager came out to reassure them that they would take all safety precautions! I went for Devour so the menu was limited. I ordered the spinach dip which was amazing and the grouper also was amazing! I will definitely be back to try other items on the menu!
Easily gets 5 stars, stopped by for my b-day celebration 3/7. This is classy looking place, with a old world feel. Lots of dark paneling and dim lighting awaits you here. With plenty of table and booth seating or sit directly at the bar if you desire. Top notch service, better than great Steak and a wonderfully appointed restaurant. Nice place for a good time and a great date night destination. For an appetizer we chose the WAGYU BEEF MEATBALL a fist sized meatball in a rich tomato sauce with ricotta cheese and grilled polenta bread. This was just ok. And we also tried the OYSTERS ROCKEFELLER the wife liked this again I thought it was just ok. Dinner comes with NAVY BEAN SOUP now I can say the soup was outstanding. ???????? We both got a 60-day dry aged steak 12oz NY STRIP STEAK mine medium well, hers well done and Crème Corn Brûlée to share. My steak was juicy and delicious and so good I feel like repeating it. Juicy and Delicious! I got a baked potato and some skillet mushrooms with my steak yum yum. All the food was fantastic and the service could not have been better. We look forward to a return trip.
My husband and I went for the first time for our anniversary last night. Steve was wonderful. He was attentive and gave the best service. The food was spectacular. The drinks were amazing.
The only minimal complaint I have was that it was a little loud. Other than that it was perfect! We even walked out with an anniversary card from the staff.
Fishers 1933 St Elmo’s was absolutely delicious tonight. To no surprise, the steak delicious, the shrimp cocktail bathing in St Elmo’s legendary cocktail sauce, on fire. But the big surprise standout were the Oysters Rockefeller, the most delicious we have had anywhere.
Our server Angie recommended that we substitute the raw oysters in our small seafood tower for Oysters Rockefeller. Great call!!! Highly recommend you ask for Angie. She made our Fishers 1933 St Elmo’s dining experience extraordinary in so many ways.
I loved the atmosphere, felt cozy and smaller than it really was. Food was excellent. The shrimp cocktail was so good it was devoured before I could get a picture. Good kick of heat first and then savory. Highly recommend! I can not say enough about our server Jacob M. He was very attentive without being intrusive.
