I was in town just for the weekend and was looking forward to some BBQ. I was not thoroughly impressed with the quality. I might have ordered the wrong thing but the brisket was super tough and the rest of the meal was just ok. There were quite a few people there and even someone loading up a catering order. So we must have just not gotten the right thing.
Had ribs, brisket & sausage. Food was smoked perfectly but not seasoned. The hot BBQ sauce was ok but watered all the way down too much " water sauce". The price was ok, food ok, season & BBQ sauce no way
We went for lunch on 3/30, a Saturday at 1PM. Was it packed, of course. Did the line move as quickly as possible, yes. The service was great and they handled the complainers nicely. The Q-Tater was delicious and the banana pudding was amazing. Some people acted like this was their first time being in a bbq joint on a Saturday afternoon with the amount of whining I heard in line, but this business is amazing.
Great value and great service. I recommend getting the family platters for the best value. The food was great. We spent $40 to get 2 pounds of meat, 2 large sides, a gallon of lemonade, and bread. It fed like 6 people.
Great BBQ, my family loves this place. Never disappointed staff is friendly and service is good. We had a birthday dinner. I recommend the ribs!
Best bbq in Columbus. Wife and I shared a slab of ribs. Ribs were fresh and meaty with great flavor. Visited their drive thru for call in pickup many times during the pandemic.
I had Q Tater the meat was very crunchy and hard. The ribs were old and dry. Terrible customer service.
First. I am a self proclaimed rib and barbeque specialist.????. However, I do realize and respect that different regions prepare different barbeque. With that being said I don't expect GA barbeque to taste like TX barbeque. Now this place was a pleasant surprise ????. The price for the amount of food is GREAT. I ordered the combo special $11. I didn't expect to get 3 meats. 3 Ribs, chipped pork and 2 tenderloin!!!! AWESOME. The meats were okay plain but DELICIOUS with mustard base sauce. ( If you like that kind of sauce ). Chipped pork is very good. I'm not a fan of the chopped pork but I will eat it. ALL the meat had a wood smoked grilled flavor. Which is good. I prefer my meat to have seasoning/rub or marinate. Sauce is needed to be delicious. It is VERY GOOD with the sauce. I just believe GREAT BBQ don't need sauce!!! I would return. Nice place, people and meats. The Dirty Dog looks INTERESTING!!! ( THIS 1 HAD XTRA PICKLES )
