I have never been to Zaxby’s because we don’t have it in Connecticut or New York. I’m glad I didn’t read the reviews until after I formed my own opinion. I probably wouldn’t have come in. There is take out, drive through, online order, pick up, and dine in options available. Very clean and neat inside. It gives you a warm feeling inside. It’s fast food but it looks like a restaurant or diner inside. Mary Grace took our order and was very friendly and outgoing. We didn’t wait long to get the food.
The food was great. I think their chicken and sauces taste better than their competitor that is closed on Sundays. I got the spicy chicken without pickles. Fried and seasoned perfectly. The sauces on it complement it nicely. We shared the loaded fries. Great combo of cheese, ranch, bacon and bits of chicken over the fries. There are two reasons this wasn’t a 5 star review. The fries are not good. They taste like a store brand with not much flavor. Second reason was the cheese was not melted on the loaded fries and the white cheddar bites were not hot. The bites should have been gooey with a nice pull. They were good, but warm and firm. The cheese being melted on the fries would have made them better. Would I come back? Absolutely without a doubt. Just don’t think I will order fries again.
I had a good experience the first day I came. I got a 4 piece chicken finger plate & got two sauces with it but then two days later at the same location I got a FIVE chicken finger plate with ONE sauce. The girl Alexander R clearly hated her job & had an attitude from hell & of course no manners. I was charged $0.25 for an add on sauce for 5 pieces of chicken (when I came & got a 4 piece I got two) & on top of that the fries were hotter than my chicken I agree that this location is a hard pass! GO ELSEWHERE
I give this one star because I did get my food and have to put something in order to leave a review. I will NOT be back here. I quit coming often because of the poor service and quality of the place but it just keeps getting worse and worse. Visited yesterday with my toddler and was extremely disappointed. Had to wait for my order to be taken, then had to wait over 20 minutes for my food while watching ppl who came in after me being served first and ignored when trying to ask about it. When I finally received my food I was so fed up and ready to go I couldn't even eat it. The place was disgusting and their was no one in there just a bunch of employees standing around, it started to fill up while I was waiting on my food but most everyone walked out either tired of waiting or once they got their food. I guess if I was smarter I would've walked out at the looks of the place being that it was empty but there was trash all over the floors and trashcans were covered with trays to not be used and tables in need of wipe down while employees are standing around doing nothing and cannot even speak to a customer.
My first ever visit to Zaxby's after hearing all the hype. I don't care for the sauce. Had the spicy signature sandwich & 4 shrimp with Zaxby's cocktail sauce. The chicken on the sandwich was overcooked & tough. The shrimp was greasy. I personally wouldn't use their sauces to unclog a toilet, but that's just me. Everything deserves a second chance, but it will be a long time.
There are no Zaxby's where we are from, so we decided to grab a quick lunch after being recommended by family. We were impressed with the service, and the food was very good! We have Chick-fil-A and feel it is slightly better, but we certainly enjoyed our lunch. We would recommend Zaxby's and come back for more.
This place is nasty. We love Zaxbys, and most locations are not like this one. This falls on management. The chicken was over cooked. Very hard. We waited for 25 minutes for our food, so there was no way I was going to send it back. I can tell nobody cares about the reviews in the zaxby corporation because there is no response to any reviews. Just don’t go here. Reviews are for correction within the establishment. Obviously they don’t read them. We will not go back. The lady that waited on us last night was very nice tho. The drink machine was so full of discarded ice you couldn’t even get your cup in there for drink. Terrible
The older lady at the counter did an awesome job. Th place was sooo busy. She definitely needed help. You need five mire just like her! People wgere lined up Alistair iut the door. She kept her cool. She did an Awesome job. Give her a raise and please hire some help
Alex is horrible for a Manager! His people messed up our order twice & he had an attitude when we asked for a refund! He kept saying he couldn't do it, so we asked for a store credit & he said he couldn't do that either...then we told him they messed the order up twice! He then said he'll give us our money back; but, then get out...What kind of customer service was that....First visit & last visit!
