Very fast service and you can tell you’re getting quality food. Probably a better hot tub than Romanian especially the jumbo dog. And you are getting the best toppings you can get on a hotdog. Also have other food that looked very good and fresh but I only had jumbo dog and fries. They have a large and dedicated support staff of kind employees working to bring a good customer experience. So the food and overall atmosphere is far above the standard set by other kosher restaurants in west rogers.

Unfortunately, meager food offering. The burger is 2 tiny slices that are often burned. Doesn't come with fries. Unless you buy the jumbo dog then the hot dog is the same you'd get in the supermarket. Fries are not bad but small serving.
Most recently it was 20 minutes late but that might have been a one-time issue.
If you're not getting the Jumbo Dog, this wouldn't be my first suggestion.

Very delicious and excellent service. Had the jumbo hotdog and a corn dog, fries, everything is high quality, even the soda machine had perfect Diet Pepsi. Decent prices and clean. Crew seems like pros with Israel vibe. This brand is popular in Israel and I remember Zalman when he lived in West Rogers Park, it’s fun to see his face up on the wall like a Jewish Colonel Sanders.
I would give 10 stars if I could!
This place has such friendly and quick service.
The food is fresh, (nitrate free to boot!), and there are so many options to choose from.
The kosher hotdogs at Zalman’s are exquisite. I tried the regular and the jumbo and each had a unique savory flavor. Everything is fresh and the restaurant is kept very clean. It is also good value for your money.
They have the best panini I've ever had, the hotdog is amazing, and the fries are excellent. Not to mention the prices are ridiculously reasonable and affordable! I don't know whether Chicago deserves this restaurant, but I am glad it is here!
This is the second Zalman's hot dog restaurant in the world and the first in the U.S. The original is in Israel. They use nitrate free hot dogs. The staff and service is excellent.
